Every time I drive the ET22 the same thing happens to me: I can't reach a reasonable speed. I assume it's a peculiar locomotive, so I accelerate carefully by adding notches of the regulator little by little, keeping an eye on the rpm and the ammeter. When I reach the 21 notch, if I increase the notches of the regulator, the ammeter trips and I do not accelerate; If I use the steering wheel to notch three, the ammeter trips but I manage to accelerate and gain speed. No sé cuántos jugadores nos conectamos a diario o semanalmente al ES1, pero coincido con JLPlaying en que cuantos lo hacemos intercambiamos mensajes correctos. Yo no sé actuar como Controlador de Tráfico y, por esa misma razón, ignoro si hay jugadores que acceden al servidor con intenciones distintas de las que deben caracterizar esa función, es decir, responsabilidad y buenas intenciones. Siempre que accedo como jugador, disfruto de la conducción e intento desempeñar mi rol con seriedad y corrección, dando las gracias a través del teclado (no dispongo de micrófono) como respuesta a un mensaje que el controlador me envía desde su puesto. También tengo la costumbre de tocar el silbato cuando me cruzo con otro tren, a modo de saludo, siendo consciente de que ese otro tren puede estar conducido por IA. Da igual. La educación por encima de todo. En cualquier caso, parece que la comunidad hispano-hablante de SimRail no es muy activa.

Para todos aquellos a quienes les interese, adjunto los tutoriales sobre el sistema ETCS en español. Descomprimid el archivo RAR y copiad su contenido en Steam\Steamapps\common\SimRail\SimRail_Data\StreamingAssets\Sceneries. Una advertencia: Lamentablemente y muy a mi pesar, para que se visualicen correctamente los textos en español durante la simulación he tenido que prescindir de la Ñ y de todas las tildes que requieren las vocales (en los tutoriales aparecían remplazadas por cuadros y desconozco otro procedimiento para hacerlo). Yo no soy un jugador que pasa muchas horas con el simulador y por lo tanto no he sido testigo de errores o fallos en él, aunque he sugerido algunas cuestiones de poca importancia que consideraba mejorarían la experiencia del usuario. Desde que el simulador inició su publicación en la versión Early Access, he procurado contribuir a mejorar, al menos, lo que está al alcance de mis conocimientos, es decir, los mensajes escritos con los que este simulador se comunica con el usuario. También soy alguien que, por mi profesión y para bien o para mal, lleva muchos años haciendo el uso más correcto posible del español, que es el idioma que me representa y con el que me doy a conocer. En otro orden de cosas, cuando veo que un amigo tiene un espagueti en el bigote, siempre se lo hago saber con discreción y delicadeza. También cuando veo que alguien (amigo o no) lleva abierta la cremallera del pantalón o de la falda. Pues bien: Si veo que hay un error o una falta de ortografía en alguno de los menús de SimRail, también lo digo y sólo espero que, dentro de un tiempo prudente, se me haga saber que, al menos, mi comentario ha sido recibido (cuando no atendido). Esta será la última vez que lo haga. A continuación expongo los últimos errores (en este caso faltas de ortografía) que he detectado en los textos del menú del simulador mientras procedía a efectuar unas capturas de pantalla para actualizar el manual en español disponible en esta web y que realicé el año pasado (que nadie piense que no tengo nada mejor que hacer o que pretendo tocar las narices a nadie, que para eso ya está mi muy hermosa nariz). Gracias por leerme. - En el menú "Ajustes - Conductor" aparece repetidamente el verbo Reestablecer que debe corregirse por Restablecer. - La palabra Mayusculas aparece sin tilde, que debe llevarla (Mayúsculas). - Aparece la expresión Tecla de Division, debiendo aparecer en minúsculas y con tilde la palabra división. - Las expresiones “Encender/Apagar luces y Encender/Apagar batería" son incorrectas, son demasiado coloquiales y admisibles en un entorno familiar. Es más correcto y apropiado utilizar los verbos Conectar y Desconectar para hacer referencia al proceso de activación y desactivación de esos elementos (no están ardiendo, para que nos entendamos). - La palabra Numero aparece sin tilde, que debe llevarla (Número). - En el menú aparece el término Arenado, que no es correcto. El dispositivo que vierte arena sobre los raíles es el Arenero. - Como he referido anteriormente, las expresiones “Encender/Apagar luces de instrumentos o de la cabina” son demasiado coloquiales y admisibles en un entorno familiar. Es más correcto y apropiado utilizar los verbos Conectar y Desconectar. - La palabra Lava parabrisas es incorrecta. Lo apropiado es Lavaparabrisas. - En el menú de Ajustes, en la opción Controlador, aparece la opción “Presiona los botones del panel de relees”, que debe ser corregida por relés (como de hecho aparece en la línea inmediatamente anterior).
