SimRail Train Compositions Viewer A tool that visually displays the composition of trains currently active on SimRail servers. I have been developing this app for some time now. You might find it useful for: Checking if there are any interesting trains currently on the server. Finding out what cargo a specific freight train is carrying. Viewing how many cars a train contains. Available in Polish, English and Czech. maty556677.github.io/TrainCompositions How to use the search parameters: There are many ways to search. You will surely understand how the operations work once you have used them, but here is a quick list of the methods that can be used. Search directly by train number or train name (7215 or Zembrzuski). Separate multiple train numbers with commas (7215, 16175). Filter trains by a specific vehicle type or vehicle nickname (EN96, ET25, Impuls, A9mnouz). Use a dash to search for a range of train numbers (1830-1999). Use the '+' symbol to combine search terms (E186+MPE to find all MPE trains hauled by an E186).- 1

That is not how compressor works. A compressor is an audio tool used to control the volume, balance, and dynamic range of a sound. It works by automatically reducing the volume of the loudest parts and boosting the quieter parts, resulting in a more even, consistent, and punchy audio signal. -

I am also impressed about the details of the sound in this game. But sadly I have to add something to the "future development": Be careful! Latest months of playing I have started to experience tinnitus problems. And of course this could be my own fault, aging etc... ... what I want to say is that: Any attempt in improving sound, please use some kind of compressors on that final output. Ex: If adding 70 different sound sources (just because being "the perfect" sim), there is always a risk that any of them is "to loud", and actually not realistic, and just making strain on your ear. So I am not thinking this kind of filtering/tuning will take a way any realism, but if NOT being careful, we all could end up with tinnitus, just "wanting to much" 🙂 (I will start a separate thread with a more exact example what I mean) (And yes: I have tried lowering the volume 😁)
