  1. Flipping two state switch by single key is done code wise. We just have to set it to buttons and check if anything brakes. What's left is some system for multipositional switches. Like making them turn arround with keyboard control. As for reusable commands, Maszyna used same for shunt and cruise control, exactly as you suggest. (it used totally different button system than Simrail, as keyboard was prime form of input and every function had assign key command with most keys reserved with shift/ctrl modifiers included) Everything great untill you want to create vehicle using both and have to straighten all spaghetti code from past years without breaking community vehicles if possible. 馃槢 In Simrail it's just key code linked to move button position number in one direction. You have predefined key list with menu slots, translations and all this and can assign any of them to button in cabin, whatever that button does. Reusing them would work, but create mess in menu and vehicles with abstract commands doing different things in different locos. I'd much prefere every command separate but with vehicle specific keybinding presets, so you could assign same key to different commands.

  7. It's intended to work this way. On high setting you can only drive on serial connection. To switch to parallel, you have to return to zero and turn it back to low. It's just to get heavy train moving, not for long time drive. Some loco even had timer that would turn on buzzer after five minutes on high setting. Probably thermal insulation is insufficient for long time high currents.

  10. LZB, PZB, Voltage selection are locked when set to Polish region, while ETCS is restricted to LVL0, so don't expect those, unless we'll go outside Poland.
  11. Exactly that. It's for external charging and It doesn't do anything. As many things as possible are prepared for animation, so could be implemented in the future without changes to the model. Animated heating spiral cover doesn't mean, there's planned kettle DLC though. 馃槢

  17. I had discussion about it as there was report about station with W4 signs couple meters before both ends that wouldn't trigger if tail was behind sign for opposite direction. Result was, that accorgind to regulations, you have to stop between them if train lenght allows. If not, head must be before sign, even if passing it by lenght of loco would allow for wagons to fit at platform. In game code, you have to fit into platform lenght written into W4 sign config. If train is longer, then stop <50m before sign.

  19. Rather unrelated te radio operations. Probably gets cleared while unloading passed areas and adress points to some garbage memory. It reuses elf material `elf_szklo2-dirt`.
