I'm believing it's a bottleneck as I came on BEFORE the server reboots last night and everything was bottlenecked. The dispatcher was routing trains all over the place. Trains with ID's not on the schedule were holding some things up at Bezin were I noticed the rerouting taking place. There was also a backlog just to the right (I forgot which station has been reported as the one having issues with AI and backing things up). 30 minutes after the reboot I took a train and other than a bit of a delay of a few minutes with AI in the busy areas I was able to catch up time outside the big cities and eventually got bored (probably tired too), quit, and went to bed. Now I'm here on the start of the holidays and I'm looking forward to get back into it again. I'll wait until 0900 EST for another server reboot though I might check the servers and see if they are clogged again. Thanks Sean

Vern does have a point about the saves and that is if there is going to be 500KM of route. Personally I like to play MP so I don't care and can just leave when I want just like I did last night when I was getting tired and likely could have had a complete run which is the normal for me. But if this is geared towards MP similar to Run8 for example I'm not worried about it. Though I think it would be really cool to have a self hosted or a single player mode with nothing but AI around and you can visit certain areas or take whatever train you wanted and not worry about others. Though so far I enjoy the MP environment. The reason why I like this MP environment vs say Run8 which has been my go to for 10 years is that you don't have this "hey hows it going" crap when everyone enters a server and then the chat becomes a social club. Everything is localized the way it should be. The only disadvantage for me it the region with all do respect to Poland. I enjoy North America and their freights and that brings a whole new operations to the game. I'm already starting to feel a bit of burn out so I look foward to more challenging signal boxes and hope with 500KM there will be plenty of choices at some point. Possibly dispatcher roles overseeing certain regions as well would be nice, but I'm willing to enjoy this ride as it's already exceeded my expectations. Thanks Sean

Personally I was underwhelmed but it's nice to have some tutorials since I never played the prologue. Besides I'm just here for the ride and to help out if I can. Don't worry I'm sure myself and others will put the whiners in place. It's OK for something to not hit personal expectations when this has already exceeded all my expectations. I am starting to get a little bored and burned out though as the buzz wares off. So now I'm looking forward to the release and no I will not be dissappointed if it gets delayed. Especially if we can continue to help and all these updates are happening before our eyes. Thanks Sean

OK I first heard this sound when I was in the dispatcher booth trying to get the trains moving again that were stuck to the right of Bezin and through this signal box. I won't bother repeating the known issues with trains routed the wrong way causing some of this chaos. Anyways suddenly I hear this sound and I thought who did that to check the players online and nobody was on. I thought that was strange. Later that night I ran a train and part way in on one occasion I hear it again. I can understand this sound over a bump (thought I find it will become annoying and old) but what is going on in the signal box? Thanks Sean

The moral of the story. If you're going to pee off a train always put a strap on it 🙂

Yeah I got the keyboard throttle to work nicely as is once I figured out the mechanic of how to get there. I usually keep the mouse highligted over it until it gets out of the range. But for the most part I know what it's doing now based on the way it behaves. It's certainly a very challenging activity. It looks as though the AI systems have no bearing on the tuturoials at this point since it appears to be totally scripted. If others are like that I'll stick to my MP and hopefully they'll nail some of the issues in it. Just before 9pm all the servers appeared to be locked up with trains no on the schedule and the AI having no place to send them. Can't wait until that measure eliminates that crap. Thanks Sean

Yeah so I noticed. I remember this from the prologue videos I had watched on YouTube. Anwyays I got used to it and managed to get it going and finish.

I was in the coal freight tonight for my first run, and I stalled at the bridge 🙂 Could never get it going again as I take it I had a pretty heavy train. The tutorial didn't really help for my stupidity either but I'll try it again at some point. Thanks Sean

That is cool.

Not sure how this would work, but similar to taking a train (I don't know if you are in the cab in AI if you reserve the seat) but having people come into the box and have the AI work the magic might be a cool way of training dispatchers. Not saying it's perfect because you can't tell what buttons or screen sections are being pushed. Just an idea to throw out there. Thanks Sean

I thought it was lightning or electricity but could never spot it. -
Level decreased from 7 back to 1

You know having an AI mode for dispatcher watching over his shoulder like the trains would work well to help newbies learn. Perhaps even a tutorial though I don't think the later is planned. Perhaps I'll post it in an idea. Thanks Sean -
I know they talked about it for the release but when did they add that in, as I don't recall seeing it in the update logs? Do we have failures on the player boxes yet? That is what I call repeat playability. I can't wait unti the full schedule is implemented into these boxes, and yes I want my hands on the monster coming soon. For now I do run lots of trains in between dispatch runs just to mix things up. I think it's great to be able to do a bit of each and keeps things fresh. Thanks Sean

EU07 tutorial has a schedule you just can't follow
SurvivorSean replied to Krtek-JC's topic in Singleplayer mode
Really! I did noticed the green and white light signals (I guess those are the alternate ones) but I've yet to hear the announcements. I normally only drive the old unit with the window open. After the tutorials I plan on running them all. Thanks Sean -
Can even have them posted on the paperclip on the modern engine, and the old schedule plate on the older engine. Of course that will tick off those that want to see the authentic timetable. Normally at least in North America that timetable sits in the luggage bag until needed 🙂 Thanks Sean

Well you may not have the rain right yet, but your sounds of the trains over the junctions sounds very authentic. One of the first things I noticed since day 1. Thanks Sean

I believe the level is directly related to the KMS driven. I think after 200 I went up to level 2. I could be wrong as this is just an assumption. Thanks Sean

Traxx Tutorial add tip for using ZEW before red signal

I thought it was part of my instruments with the horns as this gives me 4 tones and I can write great songs 🙂 But in all seriousness I do agree that an explanation would be cool. Thanks Sean -
Normally I would agree. But since there is MP and people are complaining about short runs or sitting at red lights, it seems to me there are plenty of short runs available. Personally there are a few other things I want to see implemented and fixed ahead of this (if it wasn't in the cards). You should put it in a suggestion just so it's out there. Thanks Sean

Looking at the green I would say 3 minutes early.

If you are looking for English you can type EN in the serach or type the region. Thanks Sean
