Do not forget there are situations when player can't use voice chat - for example at home when there are other family members around and You just don't want to disturb them. Or You're missing headset for different reasons (it's broken or any other reason). Then text chat just replaces voice communication. Thanks to god developers provided different options to communicate.2 points

Maciej, I appreciate the open dialogue and I understand the challenge you face. With a limited map and resources, you’re trying to satisfy everyone, but as we say in our country, trying to wipe your backside with broken glass – making painful, makeshift compromises – is rarely the best way forward. In my view, the 'boredom' on the CMK isn't a design flaw; it’s a realistic feature of a high-speed line. The real reason dispatchers are crowded there is that the CMK currently offers the most (or only) playable signal boxes for those who want to manage traffic [low or the lowest level of difficulty escpecially for beginers]. A better long-term solution would be to complete the network of playable signal boxes on the existing lines or, eventually, implement the full 'Wiedynka' (LK1) with all its stations. If dispatchers had a wealth of complex stations to choose from on other lines, they would naturally go there for the 'action.' Even if that meant a slightly lower overall train count in the timetable, the quality of the simulation and the realism of the traffic would be much higher. We don't need to 'mask' the lack of alternative routes by forcing a chaotic mixed-traffic during the day on the CMK. Let’s focus on providing dispatchers with the complex environments they crave on lines where that traffic actually belongs, while keeping the CMK as the high-speed corridor it’s meant to be. This way, we satisfy everyone without sacrificing the primary purpose of the EIP/EC runs. Pozdrawiam Miłosz 😉1 point

To me, it's a no-brainer, and I'd love to hear your arguments (players and dev team alike) for why it can not and should not be done. One Mr. pan kura confirmed that these are controlled together by the dispatcher at Zgierz. Even at potentionally higher traffic volumes down the line, Żabieniec would not be too much to manage from Zgierz, as it basically only requires setting straight routes. I don't suppose we will see any freight traffic to the various industries around it any soon, not just due to no shunting, but also on account of only Hitachi Energy and Elektrociepłownia EC-3 looking like they are in a serviceable state - and even that's a big IF, I'm just looking at Google Maps. So what's the reason for this station existing separately? I, and many of my peers would prefer quality over quantity, I can assure you that. Previous LCS posts have all proved to be a hit with the playerbase, I'd rather have one awesome post that's in high demand, than a decent one and a terrible one that nobody's having fun in. Please do it. If this separation was done to inflate the number of available posts, it was not needed. Thank you for reading!1 point

I fully support this suggestion! For me, having more NPCs already makes a big difference, because a busier platform instantly feels more alive and atmospheric. It adds more immersion and that special railway romance. In addition to simply increasing the number of NPCs, I’d like to share some of my own ideas that could further improve realism: NPCs interacting more with each other, such as meeting and saying goodbye (hugs, kisses) Late passengers running to catch their train Passengers stepping over the yellow safety line, forcing the driver to use the horn People using level crossings and pedestrian crossings, with some occasionally breaking the rules Animations of passengers pressing the door open button or opening doors manually Trainspotters taking photos of trains Families traveling together These details are not part of the original proposal, but I believe they would significantly increase immersion and make the world feel much more dynamic and realistic.1 point

I have got 3 things that I would wish were added to the game (if it is possible to). 1) More services to and from current inactive posts. For example at Zawiercie there is no service to and from Tarnowskie Góry, or at Idzikowice there is no inbound service from Dłubnia. Adding additional services that utilise these unused posts would make signalling more enjoyable for me since you get to signal to more posts. 2) Make various bot-only posts available for players. I think all the stations between Bukowno and Tunel which have a signal box should be able to be controlled by a player, as well as between Łazy LC and Dąbrowa Górnicza Wschodnia. Especially since Sławków and Bukowno are able to be controlled by players, but Olkusz which is nearby and on the same line is a bot-only post, it feels a bit strange seeing this massive gap. 3) Add shunting to the game. Currently freight yards and train depots are empty, and adding shunting movements to services would make it fun for both drivers and dispatchers and add additional tasks which won't make the game too repetitive, especially at places like Idzikowice and Staszic which currently remain empty. 4) Adding signalling to singleplayer as a form of training. When a person goes to a new signal box, the track layout can be very overwhelming and will take some time to learn, especially at complex junctions such as Katowice and Skierniewice. Adding dispatching to singleplayer would make dispatching at a new location less stressful for the player since they don't have to worry about messing up the routes of trains which could affect many players in the multiplayer server. Bonus: This is probably extremely complicated and may not be possible. If it is however, being able to signal at Warsaw's West, Central, and East station would be amazing and provide a real challenge to those who have completed Skierniewice and Koluszki. This could be a very ambitious list I'll admit. Even if I have reasons why all of this isn't currently possible in the game, any response would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! 🙂1 point

I just played a train from timetable called "TDE 412042", and I just loved the experience. The challenge of handling quick changes of speed (for example to 20km/h crossings) in SHP, then switching through two ETCS modes around Sprowa, then getting caught by faster trains after Psary. At this point I was checking the timetable, and asking myself "what is next?"... and saw that this train ACTUALLY has a end stop at Lódz! But no! The track is not built yet! At Idzikowice the mission ends, and that made me "sad" 😉 So I started checking the map more closely and got surpriced: There are "only" about 7-8 stations needed to reach Mikolajow, and then Zakowice Poludnowe. My suggestion is simply: How about connecting Idzikowice with the Lodz-DLC lines? Either as a "mini-DLC", or maybe a longer version all the way to Radom (making it a full DLC for Radom) Personally I like having a "mesh" of lines, rather than long stretches, which this suggestion gives in the "north". But in this case Tomaszow seem to look like a fun challenge in itself, with some "tight turns" and a "city to pass" Also not sure how big of a development team this is, but I would gladly sponsor some extra money to make it happen. (or to make an editor happen, which seem not ready yet)1 point

Since I enjoyed reading them, I would like to suggest to restart some kind of development blog or regular update. I am aware that this makes some extra-work for the team, so maybe instead of a weekly basis you could do it once a month, or maybe four times a year.1 point

I think in the biggest stations like Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Katowice or the new Koluszki, there sould be more than one player in the station at the same time to better manage the traffic. It is like that in real life where in big stations there's two or more dispatcher at the same time so each one can focus on the assigned groups of tracks1 point

Sure, but I don't know if that makes sense. These two don't really have much traffic and it would be boring fast (like Biala Rawska or Pilichowice...), especially with missing Sosnowiec Dandowka and Stawiska. There are better places which could be a new signal box (Wwa Wlochy, Koziol, Krk Glowny...) 😄1 point

I have noticed that AI dispatchers most of the time completely ignore “pt” timetables stops. I was driving a freight on EN1 this evening and the AI signalled me past two timetabled stops and I ended up 10-15 minutes early. I’ve also had instances where an AI dispatcher will make me wait at the station before a “pt” stop and let other trains past first. In that instance, you end up being “late” arriving at the next station to then be “on time” leaving. The AI dispatchers should honour the “pt” stops at the correct places, providing the train isn’t late, as they are designed to let either higher priority trains pass at certain points where train length and/or loading gauge may be a factor, or for timetabling/sequencing purposes further down the line. Believe it or not, I want to sit for 20 minutes at a red signal where timetabled as it’s realistic.1 point

I agree with the first one, AI ignoring stops is a real problem causing lots of headaches down the route (I especially love it when I'm playing in Opoczno and Idzikowice is a bot, sending trains 10 minutes early when I don't have a platform for them, so they end up blocking the line). The second is less of an issue AFAIK. Moving the stop to previous station is okay and in some instances realistic. It's not just whether you're on time, but also status of other trains around you. In some cases it's desirable to move your stop elsewhere and it would be done IRL too.1 point
