Signaller Rating

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if there are plans to introduce some form of feedback after a session as a signaller?

When you finish a drive you get a summary of how far, how much time you've driven and how much XP you gained.

When you exit the signalbox just goes back to the main menu, no indication of progress towards unlocking the next level of signaller etc. or if your shift added to your overall score.

It would be nice to get feedback as to how efficiently I despatched the train service.

what maybe would be better is something like that you have allready when you finish a train ride just with other stats like ,,how much trains have leave the station on time" or ,,how many substitute signals were given" and if the train stoped on the right platform

Bad idea. Players would rate randomly and beginners would also get too much downvotes. And if I don't like the person I could also downvote him with no further reason.

Honestly, I didn’t understand OP’s suggestion to be about rating by player votes. Rather, I think they were suggesting something similar to the summary you get in driver mode. Generated by the game itself, by its own criteria, not generated from feedback from other players.

No my suggestion was not to be rated by other players, but some sort of built in algorithm - similar to titles like PC Rail, SimSig or the old SIAM games which assess how you did against the train service.

I totally agree that having actual players rate you would be going down the rabbit hole.

I agree, You should have a different Level as a Driver and as a Dispatcher.

As a driver we all know the rating system, but as a Dispatcher you don'r receive anything. You should get XP for routing the train correctly, for confirming the trains on the timetable or for stopping the train in your station if ph. Also, you should lose XP if you route the train wrong, or you don't confirm them on the timetable and so on.
