Community SimRail wikipedia from the Czech team simrail.cz.
The wiki was created a few weeks ago and a lot of work has been put into it and is still being worked on to provide as much information as possible about the game, locomotives, stations.
The original plan was to create only a Czech version, but we decided to make this wiki multilingual and currently we have also an English version in the work in progress.

We are constantly trying to expand the wiki with more contributions and we are also working on translations into other languages than the one the site is currently in. 
The wiki is open for new contributions and editing by the community at this time.

great work so far, and I am happy to help out with translations to German (and Norwegian, if desired 😉).

But before I start, could you give some introduction (or a link to an appropriate help page) about how to translate pages without destroying the original page (e.g., if I translate from an english page, how do I make sure it will be created a new page, instead of modifying the english one? I understand, german pages should have a prefix "de_", and I have been working with Mediawiki before, but this is a bit dependant on which modules and tools you have included into your wiki setup.

Hello, thank you. We use the Translate module on some pages, but only on the simpler ones, because this module is not one of those that are very user-friendly. Simpler pages are translated using this module as I mentioned and pages that are more complex and contain more text, we use custom pages for each language.

DE version - https://simrail.cz/wiki/index.php?title=de_Dabrowa_Górnicza_Wschodnia
EN version - https://simrail.cz/wiki/index.php?title=Dabrowa_Górnicza_Wschodnia
It certainly has its disadvantages, but it is the easiest way to ensure that each page has its own translation without breaking another language. At the same time, this method allows each language version to independently edit/add information in a user-friendly editor. In the translation module more complex edits are difficult.

For example, the small stations have a page in English and then it is only translated into languages because there is very small amount of information.

Larger pages related to German and Polish are already prepared and contain the language prefix (de_Slawków, de_Pilichowice,...).

For locomotives, these still link to the English version and a new page must be created (with a prefix and or in your language)

EN - https://simrail.cz/wiki/index.php?title=Electric_unit_EN57

Regarding the question, so as not to break the English version - Copy the text from the English version (in the editor) and create a page in German with, for example, a prefix ( there is a video in the playlist).

News from the Wiki update: 
- CZ/EN/CN (simplified) languages are completed
- Completed information about trains that are (and will be) in the game

At the moment the detailed information about the stations and dispatching points is missing on the wiki. 
The wiki is still open to new users who want to contribute with their own contributions.
