Jasonic Posted January 15 Posted January 15 (edited) I see in the changelog that there was a Change in white balance, exposure, scenery lighting configuration, bloom. It still seems over saturated/bright to me, just been driving on a wet autumn afternoon and it was still bright and washed out looking, if you raise the camera view so that the bottomof the cab window is in line with the bottom of you display monitor it helps a bit. Barszczyk Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I think it's a matter of light adaptation. This is very clearly visible in the Pesa Elf: simrail.exe 2026.01.16 - 11.49.18.01.mp4 1

From what i remember its the issue with GPU drivers. I had the same issue but after reinstalling the system it "fixed" itself. You may try that solution. Sometimes the sky and sun was so bright that it was almost impossible to see lights or even tracks 😅
BigVern Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Agree with Jason. We do not want Simrail to end up like TSW looking alternately washed out and bleached (as with their "TOD4") which over compensated for earlier versions where the track and ground always looked like it was covered by black tar or treacle! 1
jeroezie Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I think the game is oversaturated too. I have the idea, but I am not sure, it has worsened instead of improved. 1
Jasonic Posted January 16 Author Posted January 16 (edited) There must be some settings the devs can ply with to try and get it more natural looking, even better give us more settings in the Gfx menu so we can adjust the saturation/exposure/brightness/gamma etc. Edited January 16 by Jasonic 1

Jasonic Posted Sunday at 01:40 PM Author Posted Sunday at 01:40 PM (edited) Thanks for the suggestions but wont adjust the monitor brightness settings as will make everything else darker that shouldn’t be. Also its a shame that pulling the cab blind down makes no difference to the brightness in the cab, though it never has so its not new. Edited Sunday at 01:42 PM by Jasonic
