CEMO Posted Wednesday at 05:16 AM Posted Wednesday at 05:16 AM Hallo , Recently, I noticed that AI trains no longer pass block signals (BAL) and prefer to wait, even if it takes several minutes, instead of proceeding at 20 km/h. In my opinion, this is definitely a bug, because I find it strange that players can pass the signal but the bots cannot. Cemo
lewnemejski Posted Wednesday at 08:24 AM Posted Wednesday at 08:24 AM (edited) It is not a bug. It was changed in one of the updates, because passing ABS by BOTs often caused delays and problems, especially when speed limit after passing was 20 km/h. Edited Wednesday at 08:24 AM by lewnemejski 1
Masterczulki Posted Wednesday at 08:14 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:14 PM I also don't pass these signals and wait until I can drive at full speed. As dispatcher, I also prefer when players wait rather than gathering on one section at a speed of 20 km/h.
SIMRAIL Team Królik Uszasty Posted Wednesday at 09:59 PM SIMRAIL Team Posted Wednesday at 09:59 PM Now it is 40 kph. We introduced this feature (or lack of feature) as response for stacking trains forever on some highly loaded sections, e.g. Katowice Zawodzie - Sosnowiec Gł (R52), where there is one very long block (about 2 km), what made bots driving there for 6 minutes. It caused that next train reached red light on the same signal, stopped, drove 20 kph and the cycle repeated until midnight. Maybe now, when there higher speed limit, it would not be as necessary as earlier. On the other hand, passing red ABS is only sensible, when the train in front is going to wait for a longer time and one can reach its end before it leaves the block.
