The new dispatch panels look good, but the tooltips on track circuits don't work well as the info runs off the edge of the screen. This info used to be provided in a red box, but they've been taken out. See image

If a live player signals a train the wrong way, and the train takes that route it will stop at the exit point of the post and never move again - causing massive log jams. We really need the game to stop wrong routing with a message saying "Train **** has been routed the wrong way - please correct the route" or such like. Here is an example. I looked at SG at 10.34 today. The highlighted train 42108 was sat at the exit point towards Bedzin. This train should have been routed from KZ to SP via LK660. The train was timed to go through LK660 at 04.35 and had been there for 6 hours. The whole area from KZ to B was grid locked.

Since 15/12 patch myself and several friends were online, but our list of players isn't showing anything. Tested in EN2 & 9

Server Selection Language Filter

Yeah you can just put EN for example into the search and it'll list just the EN servers. -
I made a feature request that this signal aspect info on the hud be on a separate F key toggle to the rest of the info, it acts as a bit of a spoiler to me. Not sure what happened to the thread I created. F3 is unused currently.

Presently we can show/hide different parts of the HUD - radio chat, timetable, throttle/brake/reverser/speedo & upcoming alert sections of the HUD separately using various F keys. I really would like to expand on the customisation, so that: 1. Distance to next station is on a different show/hide toggle key to the distance to next signal/speed limit. 2. The SHP alerter (flashes red at top of screen) can be toggled. Also to have the option to show the distance to next signal, but grey out the actual signal colour (it's a bit of a spoiler!) If that makes no sense, I'm suggesting that the info in green is on a different toggle to the info in red in my image.

I hadn't really noticed any problem with the limit of the global shadow distance until I loaded in during a sunrise. Outside the sphere of your immediate surroundings the lighting on the ground and assets is not affected by the position of the sun. Many of us have seen this in TSW but in SimRail the shadow draw distance seems shorter. I couldn't find a setting to increase this.

Check your texture resolution in settings. When I decreased mine from 1 to half the stutters vanished completely.

How do I get fine control of brakes on the EP07 when using keyboard?
Bescot replied to pschlik's topic in General Discussion
^This. I think the problem that ALL controls in Simrail are notched, so movement of any control will just step to the next notch. That's fair for Traxx and Elf as they are like this in real life, but there should be a design change for the graduated self lapping train brake and loco brakes on EU/EP07, so that the longer you hold apply./release keys the more the brake handles move. (not too quickly though!) -
More keybinds please : wipers, brake releaser & cab light
Bescot replied to Bescot's topic in Suggestions for improvements
Just to add I don't know if you added combined keys to turn things OFF, but nothing works to turn off things. Eg. For pantographs. F and R keys raise front and rear but no keybind lowers them. -
We also have a problem with trains appearing which aren't in the timetable causing congestion as dispatchers don't know where to send them. That leads me to something else - wrong routings. It's currently possible for a dispatcher to send a train off it's planned path, even to a place 'off the map'. This needs to be addressed too, so a) The dispatcher gets a message saying 'This will result in train **** going the wrong way!'. And, b) Any real driver, if the dispatcher STILL sends a train wrong way will get a automatic message in the chat box saying 'Dispatcher at ** has routed you the wrong way! Stop and contact the dispatcher'.

Username and informations above the player's train
Bescot replied to TheFloxiCz's topic in Suggestions for improvements
You can press tab to show this info though. -
It helps a bit that Shift + Notch up moves directly to N28 and Shift + Notch Down moves to the off position since the patch. I agree the brake handle needs work on the EU/EP locos, it's all or nothing at the moment.

How do I get fine control of brakes on the EP07 when using keyboard?
Bescot replied to pschlik's topic in General Discussion
+1 I would also like to know this. Both brakes in the EP07 are only working in an analogue way via keyboard. Release or.. 'woah there', fully applied. I have to keep wiggling the handle to keep it at the BP reduction I need. -
Agree, I've already had a lot of fun since the update last night. The AI dispatcher has broken this morning though, until the server reset at 0715 GMT. As to the MP server UI screen, where you pick a train, I too would like more information - location of train, where it's going. Also on this screen it would be nice if it showed, maybe; all of the trains - with those already being driven 'greyed out' and it showing the current players name? That way we can see our friends before we begin*. The train list could have sorting too - list by available trains (filter those already in use*) list by journey length, train type, unit/loco type. Anyway, Simkol I wish you all great wishes - a lot of potential in this sim. Had a lot of fun in MP last night and finally drove the whole of the current available route in 2.5 hours on an EC. Thankyou!

Would be useful to be able to see the gradient of the track, a small figure as a % or a symbol to show approximate grade. Maybe near top right of screen where the distance to next waypoint is.
