  1. It would be cool if AI trains sounded the horn at the W6 and W6a whistle signs.
  2. Just to tell us where the train started and where it's final destination is would be a start. The same info as you get in the F1 HUD timetable. If it helps you pick a train: those ending in an odd number are heading roughly towards Katowice. (even if they turn off map at DGz). Even numbers are going northbound. Generally speaking. As an example if you get 41011 with 40 mins left you can guess it's currently around Lazy going to Katowice. Odd number = going south, 40 mins approx travel time between Lazy and Katowice.
  3. No, here is a video: 617716180_Simrailplaytest2022_12.22-20_38_57_01.mp4
  4. You can turn it off in the game settings maybe? Set music volume to zero - not sure if that works for the intro vid though.
  5. Yep, it was in the charts while I was at school - that and Nina's 99 red balloons were probably the first German language songs I'd heard in the UK. Aw, Falco he died young. Anyway going completely off topic here!
  6. To be honest I'd never heard of Shadowfall. The rift sounds like (Rock me) Amadeus by Falco. Sorry I'm old!
  7. When driving or dispatching when an EMU goes past the output to my PC monitor flashes for a few seconds. Let me know if you need a video. I've mentioned this in the game's chat and it happens to other people too.
  8. It's probably translated like that in the localization. Your phrasing looks clearer to me, plus I'd change KO. KO - Confirm train arrival
  9. In the same way as you added a shift modifier to the EU07 to jump 0-28-43 notch could you please do the same to set the combined power/brake controller in the Traxx and Elf to zero? It can be tricky to go from power > zero > dynamic brake due to the 'indent' at notch 0 - sometimes I end up accidently going into 100% brake on the Traxx. I'll love you even more if you can do this 😄
  10. Yes, I've been playing for many hours since it dropped to L1 and it's never gone up again.
  11. Still 3 nearly hours before the clock strikes midnight in PL. These guys don't sleep. We've had patches 23:00 in the last week.
  12. Since the online map was released it's become very clear the traffic jams at DGz and La are actually caused by live dispatchers down at Sg sending Sp trains up line 1 in error. Another example; 42918 continued off path then died here:
  13. Well this is much better, well done devs - there's even a numpad6 keybind to get from brake applied position to release quickly. Thank you!
  14. Just drove a freight from one end to the other. Only problem we had was a human wrong routing a Sos Południowy train up towards Ząbkowice. The train got to there and just stopped blocking everything up. A watchful dev kindly removed it from the server end and we got going again. They said that they're working on a solution to prevent a player dispatching a train to the wrong route. Great stuff from the devs - actively solving problems.
  15. I've noticed some new dispatchers accidently set a route to a Tm signal instead of a main signal. AI trains will currently move to the Tm and then stop forever. Can the logic be improved so that trains can be flagged as manoeuvre = true or false? If manoeuvre flag = false (for mainline running) then the AI train will not move at all until the route is cancelled and set correctly. Also it might be helpful if a DR, could, in cases of cleaning up a signalling mess be able to request an AI to shunt forwards or backwards.
  16. And remember a few golden rules for beginners: - Don't signal to the blue Tm signals for a normal train. The AI will stop. Tm's are for shunting only (i.e) maneuvers/reversing). - Don't set a route to a signal without an arrow unless you have no choice (due to a problem). Signals that look like this | do not have an exit, other than a Sz (flashing white sub signal). - When setting a route using Sz (sub) signals: Before clearing the signal you must set the route using the switch +/- buttons and LOCK them, or you'll derail the train. - When dealing with a reversing line lock: The RECEIVING signaller does the work to release and reverse the line lock. The sending signaller needs to telephone to ask "is the line clear for ****?" The receiving signaller neutralizes the line direction (ZWBL), reverses (WBL), and replies with "Yes the line is clear for ****". Then they press Ko once the train arrives. The lock is then ready for another movement. - Check and double check the routing before you click confirm. One second of thought might save you 10 minutes of trying to fix a simple error.
  17. Yes it does seem strange for them to phone in when the direction is already set correctly. They only really need to ask if line is clear, if you need to reverse the direction. Maybe the devs are aware of local instructions for the routings and that's what happens there in real life? The only other reason I can think of is for when left hand running of two track block sections is needed to be taken back to using the normal direction of travel. if they didn't ask you for line clear the AI would continue to send stuff wrong line and you wouldn't be able to stop them. So you *need* to get a phone call before they send each train so you can respond with "no you idiot - send it on line 1!"
  18. I know we're are only in play test and I'm not really bothered about my level yet, but I was on level 7. When I relaunched the game I went back to level 1. This was yesterday around 1300 hours.
  19. We've seen Katowice AI dispatcher offering trains to KW via line 3 this evening. Is this a new thing? It's a bit awkward as you have to accept, reverse the line lock and provide a Sz to get the train into KW, then offer your next line 3 train to Katowice to get the line lock back to right hand running.
  20. I noticed if you teleport from your cab via the 2 key nobody else can see your avatar, but if you leave via the cab door and jump down they can. This supports Shotte's theory.
  21. I noticed when you take a train over from AI the radio is always set to R1, so drivers must change it appropriately in some locations. A solution is that the AI already has radio set to the right channel.
  22. We got a glimpse of the massive panel of Zawiercie last night on Discord - it's currently AI only so at some point I imagine we'll get to work all of the workstations.
  23. Please bring the red train approaching boxes back! The tooltips aren't as good as places like SG the tooltip runs off the edge of the screen, so you can't see the train number.
  24. Can we be able to rotate the fixed cameras please on the 4 and 5 keys? It would make them much more useful. Like the heads out views, and the cam at the rear of the train which points down towards the coupler. If we could rotate them up down left or right it would be useful when having to reverse long trains.

      • I agree
  25. Just to add, sometimes some players appear - but many are missing. Could it be distance based?
