The information provided in the in-game SimRail Express timetables available to drivers is not current compared to the timetables available directly for viewing on the SimRail Express site. (Continuous timetable mode, I've already made a separate bug direct with SimRail.Express themselves that their PDF timetables don't match the continuous timetable mode version on their site) All in game timetables are currently dated 21/11/2023, but the information on the site is more up to date (Mostly dated 24/11/2023) It's only little things between the two that slightly differ sometimes, mostly just things like train lengths but I drove a 406** service the other day the day and had I of relied upon the in-game copy I'd of been stopping short at most stations as the in game timetable said it was a EN57 (single unit) when actually it was 2 x EN57 (the online version direct from Simrail Express was more up to date and correct) Not knowing how and when SimRail pulls data from SimRail Express, whether it's between builds or ad-hoc, would it be possible for the sim to pull whatever the latest version of the timetable actually is rather than using an out of date copy. Most, if not all railway systems have an internal telephone system, so I'm surprised that the dial pad on the box phone can't be used to ring other signal boxes that aren't your immediate box next door. Sometimes you do need to ring a box a few boxes ahead to see if they can take an early train. (I do it at lot at work when I need to speak to Stafford, which isn't our immediate neighbour)

On the ED250 the SIFA disabled light is always lit despite the SIFA actually being on and working. Also, if you use the SIFA isolation switch on the bulkhead behind the driving seat to actually try and disable SIFA, it doesn't actually turn it SIFA off. EAB: 05/12/2023 - 19:15

funny things you saw in SimRail ?

Jeez, if that signal cleared there is no way I'm doing 80km/h! 8 perhaps -
If you send a train from DGZ to DG via Track 2 (Southbound instead of Track 1), the AI at DG does not have any deadlocking prevention. Scenario just: 14145 sent right track from DGZ to DG (Line 1), 40601 sent Track 2 (instead of track 1) because it was late. AI at DG then ran an early 649092 into the platform at DG Track 2 and bringing it to a stand at Signal C2 meaning 40601 was sat head to head at Signal B with no way AI could have solved it. (Only got solved by carrying out an emergency direction change on Line 2, getting 40601 to come back to DGZ and stop short of the station so it didn't get deleted and send it back on the booked track (Track 1)) Ideally there needs to be some sort of logic adding to the AI at DG that if Track 2 is set in the direction towards DG from DGZ it then needs to stop trains approaching from Będzin and hold them at Signal P until either Track 1 or Track 2 becomes available between beyond DG towards DGZ. Does using the light switch in the cab work, works when I do it. Think it's labelled as "passenger compartment lighting" there's two, side by side one switches them on, the other switches them off.

When SimRail finishes a scenario or I exit from working a signal box, when SimRail returns to the main menu, sometimes (but not always) this results in a Unity error message being generated, the sim will then hard crash back to the desktop. I've included the log file and crash dump from when it happened (just), but also attached a screenshots over how many times this happens (it's quite a lot) Server: EN1 Build: 30/11/2023 - 0233 SimRail_log_2023-12-04_15-12-14.txt Crash_2023-12-04_155719279.7z

So I'm currently sat on 19957 at Warszawa Zachodnia, booked departure time of 14:22, it's now 14:42 at the time of writing and the AI signalling has run 1329, 1429, 16129, 19397 (that's actually booked behind me!) and 1929 all ahead of me. Now I understand that Poland seems to have this weird 'priority' system, but if everything is on time (which I was, I actually arrived into Warszawa Zachodnia two minutes early), then surely the AI should run trains in timetable order if they are on time, and then and only then should 'priority' take preference when trains are late. Server: EN1 Build: 30/11/2023 02:33 (Note to forum admin: Please don't move this over to 'General discussion', the last time I reported an issue with the AI signalling the topic was moved, it's not a discussion, it's a bug when the very thing that makes SimRail and multiplayer appealing is becoming the very thing that's letting it down, the AI signalling, it needs looking at, not only in this bug mentioned but at EVERY location) SimRail_log_2023-12-04_13-53-04.txt

There a reproducible scenario on Grodzisk Mazowiecki which stops you routing from Signal X (and assumed W) that require 57 points in Normal (+) position. First call a route with a train from M1/M2 towards Signal P3 Then call a route from Signal Z towards Signal N4 First train traverses route via 58/60/62 and 65 points in Reverse (-) position (and goes well clear on Lk 1) 57 points will still show as locked in reverse (-) position. You cannot then clear Signal X (and assumed also W) for any valid route. The only way to then release the flank protection locking on 57 points is to cancel route Z to N4, as soon as the route dies, the locking releases on 57 points (and thus allowing you to clear Signal X Build: EAB 30/11/2023 - 02:33

It doesn't, the radio has a very limited range, not sure of the exact range but driving you won't hear anyone beyond say 15km. Sometimes you only hear half a conversation if a train is between you and the box further away. You definitely don't hear what's going on at GM from Katowice / Zawiercie etc

Hmm, I drove that way this afternoon and all signals were showing clear correctly with no rogue red

When switching Day Night Switch from Day to Night and back to day the brightness of the panel indications does not restore fully back to full brightness that it was before you operated said switch. Server: N/A Build: 24/11/2023 - 15:21

As per the description. The old Pendolino brake handle was bad enough, it's even worse now where from running position to actually to get it into an apply state requires a heavy double tap which either then puts into 25% brake or full on 100% anchor out of the window brake with cups flying across the buffet car! The horn keybinds on the ED250 Pendolino are reversed, if you press whatever key you have set for high tone, it sounds the low tone and if you press low tone key, it sounds the high tone Server: N/A Build: 24/11/2023 - 15:21

Travelling north from Zawiercie on Track 2 towards Myszków, in the middle of a run of ABS signals (all on green) the HUD will change to a random false red on approach to ABS 2692. You can then pass this fake red after stopping at it and proceeding at 20kph and then obey the real 2692 signal to restore to line speed. Build: 24/11/2023 15:21

Bug also present on EN76

I have the same issue with the EN57/71, the wipers work but the washer sometimes works or not at all
-
Known issue due to the servers mostly being overloaded and becoming very laggy. Over on discord kojonek2 has said "Problem was found and we are working on solution. It should be fixed later today"

If you raise both pantographs on the bugged frosty overheads (Already reported by someone else, elsewhere), when you then lower the pantograph there are still electric sparks coming from above the lowered pantograph. Server: N/A Build: EAB 21/11/2023 03:17

I have been known to do this at a couple of locations, however I adopt the UK way of doing it whereby I let the second train come to a stand first (and let it/them see the other train) before clearing the exit signal for the first train. (Reference material, Stafford Crash 1990 - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1990_Stafford_rail_crash) Not sure if the rules are the same in Poland for permissive working, but it's common sense really, especially at night.
