Don't know how far of ETCS is, but a speedo would be a nice placeholder. Basically level 0. The digital one on the left screen is tiny 😄

Even though I find most dispatcher stations intimidating(except for the northern ones 😄 ) One aspect of this sim is learning new stuff, like signals, rules of the road and track layouts. Most of the stuff written above is way beyond my dispatching skillset at the moment, I want to learn it eventually. One strong point of any simulation is to be able to read the real documentation of things and sim working in the same way as long as possible. But there is allways a balance... Finding it can be tricky sometimes 🙂

The power / cruise logic does not operate as expected in TRAXX and Dragon2 locomotives. I'm not the best to keep explanation simple so bear with me... Please disregard if I am wrong 🙂 In the Pendo: The cruise control, will have the power available set by the power handle. Example: CC set to 120, power handle set to 100%; CC will use 100% as needed to reach speed. It will cap the power if the power handle is set below the CC "requested" power. And acceleration will reduce or fail to maintain speed if less then required power is set on power handle. Observed in the TRAXX and Dragon2 locomotives: If you set CC, it will only set the power handle percentage of requested CC power. If the required power to maintain speed is 30%, CC will only get 30% if power handle is set to 100%. If you reduce powerhandle, the CC will be power limited everything below 100%. (it will get power handle % of the requested CC power) I think it should only be limited when powerhandle is reduced below 30% in this case.

I have no real life knowledge about the Dragon other than that I can confirm the harsh braking on minimum brake application here as well. I work around this by tapping in and out of brake application.(and use dynamic brake as much as possible)

I support the guest in the cab idea. Introduced a friend to simrail and told him the basics through discord stream, joining him in the cab on his first run would be mighty cool.
