  1. Thank you for your excellent sim and constant hard work. You're all doing a fantastic job.
  2. Sosnowiec Glowny when trying to send 42xxx services down the junction, En 8 server. I asked Sosnowiec Poludniowy if the track was clear for 42xxx as usual, with acknowledgment received. The arrowhead kept flashing and order to signal down the branch was rejected every time. I tried resetting the route, OWBL etc to no avail. I tried giving track clearance to 24943 which was waiting to come up to Sosnowiec Glowny, nothing moved. The system messages are when I tried to send the 42 service onwards, so that aspect of the update works.
  3. Thank you @Loongeron! I can't wait to see what the dev team produce in 2023. All the best everyone! 🥳
  4. How much FPS drop? 32GB RAM may help. Certainly, a minimum for sims like DCS, MSFS etc, 2022 gaming in general.
  5. The closest feeling to how you are treated after a IRL misdemeanour as a driver, IS getting booted out of the server. I agree in Simrail context that 2 strikes is good. That will stop the "less enthusiastic" from playing GTA5 in this potentially amazing sim. One for another thread though....
  6. Taxi and bus sent to collect the passengers, and your manager called out to ferry a relief driver out to relieve you of your duties. A SPAD is a SPAD, and the shiny jacket managers love those.
  7. One for the "Suggestions" thread.
  8. Well, it should kick you out to be honest. TSW have it right in that regard.
  9. 90% of my EN server playtests have been trouble free, AI is getting better, as is the player base. The cheap lollz people have vanished. It now seems to be people who are learning and mess the server up by mistake (button mashing, not reading the timetable etc), and that will improve. A lot of issues stem from people not reading the Sosnowiec Glowny junction timetable and sending everything towards Bedzin, or not sending trains to Starzgny(?). So certainly, have a "beginners" server for those new players, but to hide away in your own server, not trusting "outsiders" to stand up to your standards is a bit daft. Just my 2p worth.
  10. The overrun limit in the UK was 1/4 mile past the platform, where I drive is anywhere within station limits, different for Poland maybe, idk. It would mean a "Please Explain" form at the end of a shift, but most overrun incidents are due to rail head contamination (leaves on the line, oil etc), rather than muppetry. That would definitely result in a "driver support program" for a year. I'm sure the devs have a plan for these incidents in sim.
  11. Let us wait until they announce stuff, this is fast becoming TSW Forum v2
  12. A little pedantic perhaps, but the track diagram needs a tweak or two at Katowice Zawodzie:

      • I agree
  13. Simply press F2 and it's gone. You can also get rid of the other info if you feel brave enough 🙂 The ESC - Settings - Controls panel gives all these inputs
  14. I'm surprised you didn't start rolling backwards on that grade, perhaps that isn't modelled. If it is, that would suggest your brakes hadn't fully released.
  15. I'm a driver and your level crossing bells are bad atm. I really appreciate the doppler effect you included, but from a loco cab, the sound is literally a second at 100 kmh, and about 2 seconds "either side of the doppler effect" at 60 km/h, with the loudest and most correct in the mid-point of course. This also depends on window open / closed, power on, power off (loco or in cab noise) etc. The sounds of the electric locos powering up from a station stop...wow
  16. To me as a driver of 30 years, only obviously bad sound is the level crossing sounds from the cab. I appreciate the doppler effect you included, but from a loco cab, the sound is a second at 100 kmh, and about 2 seconds "either side of the doppler effect" at 60 km/h, with the loudest and most correct in the mid-point of course.
  17. All been reported previously
  18. Back on topic, the tutorials are really nice, maybe missing some items which should be fairly obvious, (sand for wheelslip, closing off power if slipping) etc. Overall, this sim is awesome and can only improve with time.
  19. The levels of whine have multiplied suddenly this past 3 or 4 days. Some of the usual suspects from the DTG forum, plus the usual millennial perma-triggered. Easy to spot and ignore.
  20. Yes, wheelslip is modelled quite nicely.
  21. The E186 coal train scenario was well done with a few interesting twists. Apart from the loco being behind (and not in front of) the player, I got going on the loco easily. I got stuck at R2 signal, realising after 10 minutes that I had to press the signaller radio again to continue, knowledge useful further along too. Overall, a fun and enjoyable mission.
  22. Great to see the tutorial in the new update 21.12.2022. I notice the dialogue states that the loco is in front of the player (it is behind). I got to signal R2 which was red, and nothing else happened. I discovered pressing ZEW3 again continues the scenario. Needs explaining? The dirt on the windows is a little overdone, but that's picky. A welcome addition though, kudos Simrail team.
  23. I hope this doesn't become another "DTG forum" self-entitled whinge fest, it seems some people can do nothing but moan. As Sean said, grow up.
  24. It is a great idea in principle, a must have in multiplayer. For dispatch, I think if a train is on your panel, then keep the 1 minute timer, and if not, let it out to 5 minutes. That allows a browse of the internet, fridge for a drink etc during slow times. Driving is different ofc but a good compromise is needed, not total removal.
  25. Plug and play code is a good idea. There are some clever cookies out there who will have no issues in the Unity engine.
