Katowice platform 5

Is there any plan to make Katowice platform 5 available for trains? Currently it's not possible to use it, if you route a train there, it will not stop there to serve the station. Of course you can put a red signal, btu it won't count as a stop at the station.

is that platform used in real life?  i.e. in 2018 did that platform get regular use? 

if not, then just as real life, do not route a stopping train to that platform.

It did not

However, platform 5 was used irl for unusual situations, e.g. when for some reason it was not possible to direct trains to the other platforms. Stopping at platform 5 should be counted so the dispatcher can make use of it when necessary.

I believe it's used as a backup, i.e. no trains are scheduled to stop there, but it is kept operational and available for dispatchers to use.

Is platform 5 the one that's alone sitting in the corner of Katowice? If it's the one I think I did saw pictures of DMU's there.

Edited: Nvm, videos I saw are from 10 years ago. 😂 It seems Peron 5 is the last remaining thing of the old Katowice station... Which now I'm curious about, are there any good old photos from it? When was it refurbished?
