And there we have it: a new dispatch station "Grodzisk Mazowiecki", this time up north. Well the hint was pretty strong. 😄

Now it becomes interesting as we may also want to take a look at what else is there up north. But also given Dąbrowa Górnicza Ząbkowice ends up on number 1 each poll I'm very curious to how it is progressing.

Again the rules remain the same, you can vote for any station you would wish to see, even multiple or all if you so desire. If your favorite is not on the list post it so it can be added next round. So let the voting kick off for the most desired dispatch station.

If my memory serves me right, there were some image disclosures some time ago on Discord by a dev, regarding the layout of Dąbrowa Górnicza Ząbkowice. While nothing is confirmed for the next patch, my speculation is that we're getting DGZ as the next dispatch station.

I’d still like to see Koziół.

Ah I missed that one. I'll try and remember to add it next time.

For the busier workstations I'd like to have the option to pop out the workstation screen onto a second monitor as trying to signal trains even on a semi busy area and then having to come out of the workstation view to tell the AI what you've sent them gets a bit much, that's why I tend to stick to the cube panels now, no faffing going in and out of screens.

Not anticipating Stawkow to be a major busy one but the AI loves holding freights there indefinately and have been backups for a while. Would like to see that accessable just to try to get traffic flowing when it bottles up.

I think that it would be important to fill the gaps first. With Grodzisk Mazowiecki, we now have a signal box that is close to Warsaw, and that is great.
But the goal should definitely be to realize stations like Katowice (main station), Dąbrowa Górnicza Ząbkowice, Lazy La and Lazy. Then the coordination will be much better and the flow of traffic would be much smoother.

Apologies for going off topic but do we have to inform the AI of departing trains? Does it make a difference to the flow of things?

I don't know for sure but I would say yes. This is to make sure that the AI station can "process" that train. There are some instances that a dispatcher at Sosnowiec Poludniowy or Glowny doesn't inform the next station that a train is coming and caused a jam

Yeah that’s Dorota all right. Surprises me, to be honest; I’d have thought Dorota would currently be rather boring.

The panel looks more interesting than how it feels the station would be 😆

That would be the case, but in my opinion, the devs might add some new trains going to Sosnowiec Maczki or Jaworzno Szczakowa (southbound route towards Kraków and Mysłowice), in order to make the station more interesting. Otherwise, if no new trains are added, you'll just be sending already existing trains west towards Juliusz (and in turn towards Sosnowiec Południowy or Tychy) and north towards either Dąbrowa Górnicza Wschodnia or Dąbrowa Górnicza Ząbkowice.

The reason I'm suggesting there might be new trains going through the station is because according to @Aero1995's screenshot of the photo that @uetam posted on Discord (look further up in this thread and you'll find it), all lines seem to be operable. What I mean is that there are not any red lights on the lines that continue to those new destinations (Maczki and Jaworzno) that would prevent the routing of trains to and from there. As a result, I speculate that the Dorota dispatching box will be added along with the new timetable or, at the very least, along with a few new trains to make the station less repetitive, just like those PXE and TME trains that got implemented with the addition of the Idzikowice dispatching box.

I'm just glad Dąbrowa Górnicza Wschodnia will get a friend. 🙂

I wanted to justify some of my theories about the new dispatching box

Quick reminder that there is a completely new timetable coming 😉

That's splendid news. Looking forward to it. Keep up the excellent work developers.

As I can see, it is not possible to keep the two-week cycle. Is there a major update going on that is causing the delay?
