sTuPid.rar Posted Sunday at 01:55 PM Posted Sunday at 01:55 PM Hi everyone. Lately I am experiencing frequent "Application not responding" events while playing the simulator. It happened 4 times this week. While running the simulator, suddenly it stucks like it is trying to load something, but never recovers and I am forced to close it via windows task manager. For now it seams to have happened mostly in singleplayer mode and near the Lodz area (only once in multiplayer as soon as Skierniewice loaded in dispatcher mode). Recently i bought the Lodz Junction + impus 2 bundle, not sure if it is something related. I would exclude hardware related issues because only simrail is having these kind of problems. Also I tried to run the steam file integrity check and it completed without errors. Has someone experienced the same issues? Not sure if I should report this as a bug...
jeroezie Posted Sunday at 02:42 PM Posted Sunday at 02:42 PM How frustrating. It can never hurt to report this as a bug. Dev team will suggest doing a full reinstall. If you fo report a bug, please do not forget to include the log file since this could provide much needed information.

So much so that I've only managed to complete 2 of the new scenarios, the other times it froze half an hour in, not even necessarily in the latest dlc area. Log files might be good to add, but in my case they ended 3 minutes before my game gave up, so I'm unsure how useful they could be. I am using a total potato, though.
BigVern Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Not sure if any use, but the only time I had this happen was when I was trying to download MSFS 2020 in the background, which presumably took enough CPU and GPU capacity to choke SimRail.
