I sometime hear about people (on this forum) getting banned from the game / the game server. Sometimes for a limited amount of time. And in other cases permanently.

Assuming people are playing the game as it was intended, what does it (actually) take to get banned? What are the criterias? I failed finding these, so I am keen to know.

I have *touch wood* never had to experience this, despite I have been making occasional kock-ups (misspelled on purpose). I am of course forever grateful that the moderators have been this lenient on me... And I actually do my best to avoid mistakes. Although I am only human... 🫣

The first rule of Fight Club... applies!

I think generally so long as you act in a mature and responsible manner, for most of us there's nothing to worry about.

Drive your train sensibly and try to avoid passing a signal at red. Don't abandon your train when it should be moving, though I think these days the bot steps in fairly quickly.

Don't mess players about if you're signalling and if you want to learn a particular signalbox, pick one of the dead servers to do it (another reason why we need to be able to do signalling in SP).

Also I think, don't abuse the chat feature,
