I'm using the Next version. I've read something about it on this forum, but I can't find the thread that discusses the option to save the game in single-player mode. Can you tell me how to do it? Thanks for your time.

Go to  %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\SimKol\SimRail\settings.conf , in this file at the very bottom there will be a line called something like "alfa-save"=false, change it to true and save the file.

Now you have to remember that when you start a scenario, the save option does not appear immediately, you have to start the scenario for about 1-3 minutes then the save option will appear.

The next thing is that each save applies to a given scenario, so to load a save from scenario A you have to be in that scenario A, you can't load a save from scenario A while being in scenario B.

Hi!

I also read a thread like this on this forum and can't find it now either. But I remembered.
As you probably know, this is a testing option (unofficial). You must manually change one entry in the configuration file. The file is named "settings.conf" and is a plain text file (you can open it with Windows Notepad). It's located in the following folder: C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\LocalLow\SimKol\SimRail. The AppData folder is hidden by default. In this file locate (use the F3 key) the entry:

Testing_SavesEnabled=False

Change the value from False to True (Testing_SavesEnabled=True), save the change, and close the file. From now on, whenever you press the Esc key during a simulation - in the menu that always appears in this case, you will find an additional option to save the game.
If you ever want to opt out of this option, change this entry back to False.

Please remember that you enable this option at your own risk 😉
