I can't find it mentioned in Announcements, but I have seen posted elsewhere some small changes have been made to improve the Alpha Save Game feature and the developers are looking for players to try the feature out.

As a very vocal proponent of improvements to the SP and save game I'm more than happy to do some testing. However, it would be useful if the developers could list all those single player scenarios which are now compatible with the save game or even better put some sort of symbol or icon next to them within the game menu.

If I uderstand correctly the development of "save" function in the game, all LUA based scenarios (Kraków and Lódź) should be compatible and savable as there is no functions for creating a checkpoint. The biggest missing feature for now is state of ETCS.

Thanks Krolik. Do I need to enter the beta path on Steam to access as my latest version of the game is Build 30/05/25 1826?

Does this mean, that custom/player made lua scenario's would* be compatible with saving too?

*unless their is a bug or something specific in a scenario causing problens, game developers can not forsee everything of course.

It is better to use beta version. However saves may be incompatible between versions of the game.

Thank you kind sir, switching to beta version as I type this. Look forward to getting some testing done.

Running train 6128 on the Lodz route after saving three times, started getting the error message, "Cannot save right now, routes are being processed".
