Angelo Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Hi, I'm sorry if this will come off as rude. I understand that programming is an incredibly long and delicate process, which takes huge amounts of time and care. But. It's been more than two years since I joined the SimRail community; one of the key aspects that sold me the game was the possibility to operate a mechanical signalbox while some steam trains are running outside. I understand why lever frames aren't ready yet. I'm fine with that. However... Would it be possible to actually see what has been made? To know what is missing? Is it 3D modelling? Programming? Sounds? Bugs? Glitches? Missing documentation? Issues to integrate it with SimRail game/internal mechanics? Since many of us paid upfront for an unfinished game and it's been more than two years now, could we please get more details about this? Maybe some screens of what has been done, what has been tried and failed, and, in general, what's going on? Thanks 😅 1 8
Shark Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Yeah, that's something I would like to know as well, along with shunting in multiplayer. 2
Angelo Posted March 22 Author Posted March 22 (edited) I tried twice to write a message here to ping the staff members who are most active on the forum, but my message has been deleted both times, without an explanation... I tried to ask on Discord and @RealMiko just told me that this is counterproductive and the signalboxes are in development. Not really an answer to my precise and - I believe - polite question.
