Hello,

I keep having the problem that the sim crashes with a black screen. The GPU fans then go to 100%. I then have to switch off the PC. The error has been occurring since the very first version. Even when the sim was still in the early access phase. Since this error occurs almost every time, I hardly play the sim anymore. Sometimes the error only occurs after a few hours, but sometimes after a few minutes. The problem only occurs with this game and, as already written, since the first version in EA. The error occurred under Windows 10 and now also with Windows 11. I always have the latest driver installed. Can therefore rule out that it is a driver problem.

Kind regards
Matthias

Hello,

what is the status of the bug report? The bug still occurs and the game is absolutely unplayable for me. This error does not occur in any other game, even those that require a lot of VRAM. The VRAM utilization of this game is very extreme anyway.

I'm not familiar with that. My friend always does my PC and I moved some time ago, so my friend can no longer come to me so quickly. There must be another way. There is no other game where I have these problems. Even if I do a 10-hour flight in MSFS. Everything runs smoothly. This error has been occurring since the EarlyAccess version. My friend has regularly updated my BIOS. The current version is from April. I will not change anything in the BIOS. There must be another solution.

I had a problem two months ago. When I opened the game, it would close itself after a variable amount of time, sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes 15. I started thinking, and after burning a fish stick and drinking a non-alcoholic cup of something called Jägermeister, I found the solution. I had just updated the Nvidia drivers. I downgraded them to the previous version, and the game started working again (RTX 4080 Super GPU). Two weeks later, I was updating the BIOS and accidentally enabled MSI's basic CPU overclocking. The game wouldn't launch. I went back to the BIOS and noticed it was enabled. I disabled it, and the game started again (Intel i7 13700K).
I'm telling you this in case it helps. Good luck. 🖖
