I'm starting this thread out of curiosity. I'd like to know if anyone has tested DLSS 5 in SimRail and what the experience is like—is it worth it? Does it significantly impact performance?

Something similar happened to me while driving. I considered it unnecessary and unfair because it was a misunderstanding. I decided not to play on Polish servers again. Don't even bother, just wait a few days and come to the INT servers.

I personally like the expansion. I like modern trains, and I think the expansion of that area is perfect. The price is very reasonable. I'm grateful.

If we can't have events in a multiplayer game, then I'll just go to TSW. Events are the only thing that makes SimRail unique and fun.

If I get a SZ signal at Starzyny, shouldn't I go 40 km/h until the next signal? "over-speeding" It was supposed to be a 120 km/h train, or so I think, but that's up to each player; it doesn't affect the others. If I'm going slower than usual at any point, it's because I'm not driving like a maniac. Freight trains aren't Formula 1 cars. You had exit in Psary for 8 minutes but not moved. - That's not true. I made my technical stop by requesting it from the Psary staff. If I remain stationary for 8 minutes, the bot activates. I find it ridiculous. I mean, in PL3 I have to drive like a bot

I would like an administrator to explain this seemingly random ban. On the 27th, while driving 912044, I suddenly received this message. I have never intentionally blocked traffic; if I have ever stopped or driven slowly, it has been for reasons such as traffic, signs, or some other justifiable reason. If we start off on the wrong foot, this is a bad start.

Lo de sustituir "reemplazar" por "remplazar" creo que, al menos yo me lo aprendi asi, reemplazar es correcto, de hecho es que suena mal remplazar... pero vamos,por lo demas genial. Basicamente piensa que es una palabra compuesta de re y emplazar. Piensa otros ejemplos como: Instalar -> reinstalar Hacer -> rehacer ETC ETC ETC. Saludos!!

I had a problem two months ago. When I opened the game, it would close itself after a variable amount of time, sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes 15. I started thinking, and after burning a fish stick and drinking a non-alcoholic cup of something called Jägermeister, I found the solution. I had just updated the Nvidia drivers. I downgraded them to the previous version, and the game started working again (RTX 4080 Super GPU). Two weeks later, I was updating the BIOS and accidentally enabled MSI's basic CPU overclocking. The game wouldn't launch. I went back to the BIOS and noticed it was enabled. I disabled it, and the game started again (Intel i7 13700K). I'm telling you this in case it helps. Good luck. 🖖

Comparing Roblox to SimRail is like comparing Ace Combat to DCS 😐

Even if it costs €70, I'd buy it. It'll give me 30 times more hours of fun than a TSW route where I play for two hours and get bored. Hours of fun per euro invested is 1000 times more profitable SimRail. But that's just my opinion.

Have you tried lowering all graphics to the minimum possible and enabling AMD FRS3? Could it be caused by poor internet connection or hard drive issues? Do you use SSD or HDD? I have an i7 13700K with 64Gb DDR5 and a 4080 Super and some days I get some lag, and it's because of internet lag...

I guess it will be a matter of resolutions (1080p, 1440p, 2160, ...) and types of antialiasing, in summary it would be: - TAA good results but requires hardware power and loses some image detail - FXAA requires less hardware resources but is the least efficient - SMAA is an intermediate between both - DLSS If you have an Nvidia RTX and can use it, it is the best, plus you can set different levels of quality or if you prefer performance (more FPS) Depending on what GPU you have, you can set DLSS High quality or performance - FSR Similar to DLSS but from AMD We are missing DLAA for Nvidia RTX but SimRail does not have it If you also have an RTX and configure some things in the Nvidia control panel, you can gain quality. There may also be some quality improvements in the captures with editing programs, in my case I upload them as I capture them, but I do not criticize anyone who improves the image, I do not do it out of laziness. 😪

If only that were the only problem with the sounds... In the en57 I always have a cricket inside the cabin. The traxx doesn't have any noise from the traction fans or electric brake (and they are louder than any other) the sound doesn't change if you open or close the doors or windows... etc etc

I think it’s time to comment on another issue, related to this. And that is, when the SimRail team asked for groups that wanted to collaborate to make DLC, routes, material and so on from different countries, a group of Spanish developers offered themselves, a brief contact was maintained, a project was made, the route, rolling stock were planned… a very well planned project by very good people with script programmers and creators of material and other things that you surely use in TS classic… it was presented to them… and we didn’t even get an answer. Just silence. They must have realized the sad reality, and that is that a route from Spain, with the few users here, was not of interest (Attitude that sounds like DTG to me). Nothing happens, you will have it for free when the SimRail tools come out (if they do). I am going to encourage these people to create a thread like the colleagues from Sweden are doing, showing things that they are making ready to export and implement, let’s see if they are encouraged. If they do, you'll see who they are, and then we'll be able to cry even more.
