When exiting Grodzisk Mazowiecki at signal P1 using crossover switches 63 & 66, the speed limit is raised too early. The route over the switches is 100km/h, however as soon as the front of the train passes signal P1 the speedlimit is raised to Vmax (140km/h in the example below) even though the rear of the train is still on the 100km/h switch. Route tested in example: Signal M2 shows 100km/h as expected: As soon as front of the train passes Signal P1 the speedlimit is raised to 140km/h, whilst the rear of the train is still on the 100km/h switches, one would expect the speedlimit to still be 100km/h here until the rear of the train is clear of the switch:

186 amp meter not showing regenerated amps
T_cave replied to T_cave's topic in Bug reporting [Multiplayer]
I'm confused, why does it then list how much energy was recovered on the trip summary screen if it's all converted to heat in the resistors? -
I was just driving 142065 with locomotive 186 134 on INT1, when I noticed that when the ED brake is active no amps are shown on the amp meter in the locomotive, whilst they are displayed on the HUD
-
Decided to go for an early moring drive on INT1 today, though I must admit I expected it to be al little darker outside at 05:00 in March
-
Was already starting to think, no news means it's being implemented, guess not XD. Not sure how well that first consist would work in other places though, I've not looked into it too much but I don't know of any other trains on/ near the current map where a sleeper train runs that splits up and has sleepers/ coachettes going to/ from 3 different places.

Likely Cost For The Lodz Route?
T_cave replied to BigVern's topic in General Discussion [Multiplayer]
This is what it says on the steam store page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3583200/SimRail__The_Railway_Simulator_d__Warsaw/ -
A fun quirck I noticed whilst playing SP, is that the 4E locomotives sound slightly different from the No. 2 cab. The contactor sound mainly is different than in the No. 1 cab. So perhaps some of the 4E loco's can be spawned in backwards in MP as I noticed that usually it's always the No. 1 cab leading on MP.

I don't really have a specific train in mind for this suggestion, it's more of a generic suggestion for all trains running with the older PKP IC livery coaches, and mainly the longer ones. When there is a shortage of 2nd class coaches, some older 1st class coaches appear to be "downgraded" to 2nd class. So on longer trains with the older coaches perhaps a few 1st class coaches could be mixed into the composition. (photo just for reference)

A suggestion for the morning Krakow - Warszawa and evening Warszawa - Krakow trains (35102 and 53115 would fit best I think). The sleeper train to/ from Zakopane I'd imagine only runs once a night in each direction, so perhaps the other pair can borrow their compostion from the Chopin trains. The CD livery coaches would have to be substituted with PKP livery ones of the same class, and the sleepers would have to be coachettes instead, but from the outside it'd look the same. 2023 timetable used for reference: 35102 compostition: https://www.vagonweb.cz/razeni/vlak.php?zeme=PKPIC&kategorie=&cislo=406/41010/1&nazev=Chopin&rok=2023 53115 compostition: https://www.vagonweb.cz/razeni/vlak.php?zeme=PKPIC&kategorie=&cislo=407/14010/1&nazev=Chopin&rok=2023

Likely Cost For The Lodz Route?
T_cave replied to BigVern's topic in General Discussion [Multiplayer]
I believe it will integrate into the current route, extending from Grodzisk Mazowiecki. And I'm expecting it to be an addition to the map off the current servers. Price wise, I'm guessing around €20,- to €25,- though even if it was €30,- - €40,- it would still be better value for money with 100km of new lines then the Cardiff (or most other TSW) DLC -
I was playing around in the external camera whilst driving, when I notices that in the higher-speed curves the overhead wires are running along the outer part of the Pantograph, instead of (near) the middle. I think this is due to the superelivation not being taken into account for the OHLE position, as they appear to be straight above the spline of the track (with some offset left and right for the zig-zag effect to even out the wear) I know it is only a minor detail, and I don't know how easy it is to adjust across the whole map (wether it's just editing the function that creates the OHLE or if it needs to all be changed manually) but I hope it can be rectified sometime in the future.

Maximum speed of train visible in HUD
T_cave replied to Maty556677's topic in Suggestions for improvements [Multiplayer]
I mean, isn't this the timetable? I know there are the paper ones, but this is basically the timetable in the HUD. -
With the LCS posts drivers can see in the HUD if there is a player controlling the remote post in the HUD. Perhaps the same thing can be done for R52 as trains to / from LK 62 via LK660 don't go via the main post and therefore can't see if there is a player controlling the signalbox or a bot.

Don't think this is very good for your pantograph... S: opoczno_warszawa_grochow_terrain_x193_z407, P: (98919.08, 106.16, 208735.60), R: (78.45, 146.81, 0.00)

Whilst driving a 4640xx train, I noticed a 10 minute stop at DZ GTB in the HUD timetable, but even though there were other trains that needed to go ahead of me the Player on DZ signal box at the time send me straight through. Finding this strange I looked at the EDR and noticed that: A). this 10 minute stop wasn't marked as a PT in the EDR and B). the stop is timetabled for GTB, and thus is not visible on the DZ signal box EDR which only shows the EDR for the DZA and DZB signal boxes, not GTB. So the only way a dispatcher can know about the stop is by looking at the train route tab and comparing the Arrival and Departure times themselves. Since most dispatchers don't do this for every train that passes by, or knows the timetable for every train from front to back. As a result most players skip this PT stop as they simply don't know about it, and assume the train is just early when it's running -10 past DZB signal box. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1256236499574456360/1342826869141274665/D411E76AF7FEB88233857CC4AF3110F82B03D035.png?ex=67bb0c7a&is=67b9bafa&hm=18c5109292e41459fda8c228d375f82cca5cb8f65b368749a51150938d5eb6be&https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1256236499574456360/1342826505709031444/image.png?ex=67bb0c23&is=67b9baa3&hm=154e7bb8e8da4133188bd3e29e22d62b7755d7c889064ada32fa8cd176d3bc6b&

On the EU07 the sunvisors are not visible when viewed through a window, with the side window open you can see the sunvisor through the open window, but not through the glass either.

Yesterday (24-12-2024) drove the full length of train 54033 on EN1 server, without using the bot at all, but did not get the "Taste of coal" achivement. Looking at the graph (1st and 2nd picture) I notived I noticed I did not get any points for passing Strzalki, at first I thought it was because I skipped the PT stop, but after testing it earlier today on train 54029 also on EN1, I noticed the graph also didn't mention a stop for Strzalki. (3rd picture, the stop was at Strzalki, and I passed at least 1 ABS signal after leaving Strzalki before leaving the train)
