Afaik, the EN57 will be part of the next patch, which should come out this sunday - at least according to the rumours on Discord. DLCs should come out after the early access period, and the ET22 may be one of them - again, according to the rumours. I'd love to hear more official updates here on the forum. I'm curious about whether or not we'll get DLCs on multiplayer: if not, to me that would be a deal breaker, meaning I wouldn't be interested in purchasing rolling stock or railway lines.

Hi, Passengers in Warszawa Ursus see the train coming, align in front of the doors, but never get on board. Happened both times I stopped here. Thanks! P.s. I also tried to force open all the doors; they still refused to hop on.

Hi, All the W17 indicators in Warszawa Wschodnia appear untextured and lime green, as per pic attached. Thanks for the effort in developing SimRail and fixing all the bugs. Take care.

Filtering trains to drive
Angelo replied to Angelo's topic in Suggestions for improvements [Multiplayer]
Sometimes I do, and I will stand up in the cab for a while before taking the controls. But since there's already the possibility to avoid this with simrail.express, why not integrating it in SimRail itself? -
Hello everyone, Two days ago (server EN1, train 424058, at around 20:50 server time), I departed from Dąbrowa Górnicza Wschodnia from track 6, towards Sławków. Signal N showed S2, although I was routed via a 40 km/h set of points and therefore I should have encountered an S10. I don't recall if I was routed via r.54 or r.61, I think it was the latter. Thanks!

Improvement for color blind
Angelo replied to Frank's topic in Suggestions for improvements [Multiplayer]
Not necessarily: there are some exceptions, e.g. in Łazy Łb when arriving from Zawiercie via line 160, at the end of track 123. The signal here has three lights, red-green-white. -
Hello everyone! Many of us don't really like starting a simulation with a train that's already running at 200 on the CMK: it's way more realistic to start from a station, and get the train moving. I know I can see which trains are currently standing still at this web page, but what if there was a button in the SimRail menu that allows the user to only see trains which are currently standing? Also, It would be neat if the trains could be filtered by some other parameters, same as on the simrail.express page, and if we could see them in order of how much time still remains until the end of the journey. Thanks for all the hard work you put in SimRail :) and can't wait for the next update!

Perdonami, in che senso? Quali passaggi esegui di preciso? (Sorry, what do you mean? What did you do to get this issue?)

Hi, On all engines, the wipers do not clear the windshield from rain drops. At all. They do move, but every single rain drop remains. It's not easy to see on a screenshot, but I'll put one here anyways. Also, the washers do not work: on any engine, as much as I hold the button, with or without the wipers on, I can see no water on the windshield - and I cannot clear the bugs. I do, however, see a normal amount of rain drops on the windows while it's raining - both on trains and on signalboxes. I always had this problem, it's not something new. Thanks :)

Ciao! As much as I'd LOVE to have a simulation from my country, this would first require: - interest from players; - cooperation from a railway company. As Gazz292 pointed out, here in Italy some believe that if people knew too much about railways, terrorists could use this information. Same goes for taking pictures, as if we were in the USSR. As far as I know, most terrorist just place bombs and don't care about how the circuits of an ACEIT I 0/17 work. But I may be wrong. At any rate, the Milano-Bologna line is a lot of fun for dispatchers - I can guarantee myself! But perhaps it'a a bit boring for the landscape. Just two tracks, mostly straight, in the fields. I think it would be worth it to try contacting some regional operator. An historically important one is FNM (Ferrovie Nord Milano), and if simulating in the 2000s we'd be dealing with: - railway lines with a unique and fascinating style; - a lot of old-fashioned trains which are a lot of fun to operate; - timetables with a lot of traffic. If dealing with the FS (national railways), the Genova-Ventimiglia in the 90s offers: - one of the most beautiful lines ever existed (sadly replaced by long tunnels in 2001 and 2016); - EuroCity trains from all of Europe, and engines built from 1928 (E626, used on goods) to modern electronic ones (E652); - timetables with a lot of traffic... mostly on single track! - semiautomatic block and electromechanical devices!

Service timetable in locomotives
Angelo replied to Aero1995's topic in Suggestions for improvements [Multiplayer]
That's great! Can't wait for this new feature in SR! By the way, I've seen that some modern Polish EMUs have a system that shows the timetable and the minutes of delay or to wait before departure; will it be in SR too? -
Next dispatcher station (week 21+)?
Angelo replied to Skully's topic in General Discussion [Multiplayer]
As others have already said, it's a relay interlocking. I'd like to add that its name comes from being made out of tiles, like domino tiles. Also, in the Swiss railways there are devices actually called Domino: the Integra Domino 55 and 67 (introduced, respectively, in 1955 and 1967). On the Polish network, there are different types of domino panels; the one we have in SimRail is a type E, but there are other systems which share the same tiles and buttons but are operated in a different fashion. -
Map updated - please see the first post. Katowice Osobowa (KO), Strzałki (St), Biała Rawska (BR) are now playable; fixed mistake in Włoszczowa Północ (WP) - line 572 goes to the right; Sosnowiec Kazimierz was missing.

Hi, When the arrival or departure time is entered in the timetable, the train category turns green. Since the last update, the timetable will randomly turn all the trains back to white. It just happened to me multiple times at Idzikowice, on EN1.
-
I've noticed that too. It's as if, for some instants, we stop receiving the current position of the train.
-
That will come in the future, and is currently in queue in the development process.

Next dispatcher station (week 11+)?
Angelo replied to Skully's topic in General Discussion [Multiplayer]
I agree, it will be really interesting, especially for shunting! Here in Italy we also had some very special cases! One that comes to mind is Aosta, which used to have the south side managed by an electromechanical Sasib device, with manual switches secured by keys, and the north side with a proper, classic, historical Saxby frame. Here's some pictures of the largest Sasib device in Padova, still preserved in its original location, and the Aosta Saxby frame, now preserved in the Pietrarsa museum. Sorry for the OT, but when it comes to signalboxes I NEED to let everyone know how amazing they are 🙃 That looks awesome! Can't wait to have a shift there! Congratulations for the great work! Since we're talking about DG Ząbkowice's signalboxes: isn't the side towards Łazy controlled by signalbox DZA? Is the green part of the panel just a temporary solution for development? Or is it that DZA is controlled from DZB, as it is the case for a very peculiar signalbox in Italy, where the main box is manned by a dispatcher, and a secondary box is unmanned and controlled by the main one but needs human intervention for some special operations? -
Next dispatcher station (week 11+)?
Angelo replied to Skully's topic in General Discussion [Multiplayer]
Dąbrowa Górnicza Ząbkowice! Wow! Quick question: how does signalbox DZB2 work? I've seen on Semaforek that there's a mechanical signalbox towards DG Huta Katowice: https://semaforek.kolej.org.pl/wiki/htmlets/Dabrowa_Gornicza_Zabkowice2.png ...and here, from your screenshot, I see that in DZB we have the signals but not the switches. So DZB2 has a switchman who moves some switches but only DZB has a proper dispatcher? -
Whoops! That's why I needed a map: otherwise, I'll miss some things... 😋 Thank you very much! Updated the map. SimRail_20230505.pdf

Hi! I made my own SimRail map; this one focuses more on playing as a dispatcher, so I indicated which type of interlocking each signalbox is equipped with, and I numbered the lines near every branching station. Please do let me know if I made... well, let's just say how many mistakes I made! I will correct them ASAP! I hope this chart will help other players to understand the SimRail network when dispatching trains, especially in complex stations such as Zawiercie. Have fun! EDIT 06-05-2023: since some people were still downloading the old map, I decided I'll replace the attachment in this message every time a new version comes out. SimRail_20240426.pdf

Hi! Just a small detail that would not only add technical realism but, let's be honest, also a bit more fun: in Dabrowa Górnicza Wschodnia, after a train has departed to DG Strzemieszyce, the dispatcher will press and release the Po key; when the key is released, an electric signal is sent to the next station. Whilst the signal is sent, a buzzer should ring, as this document shows at page 6: http://automatyka.ndl.pl/srk/blokada/Blokada liniowa z obwodami WN.pdf I really need to hear this: Polish signalboxes are already too quiet when compared to their Italian counterparts, which are full of buzzers, bells, and all sorts of quirky sounds!
