  1. I remember hearing on a very old stream for SimRail Prologue (a year ago) that rail driver support was planned but that was the first and ONLY time i've heard about it. Are there any updates on Rail Driver support and if support for this controller will be fully implemented and available for the launch of the game next month?
  2. @uetam we would REALLY benefit from a 'VOTE TO RESET TRAIN' feature in multiplayer. When things get stuck, it can easily be fixed without restarting the whole server.
  3. Yes! Also i never know that i'm on the wrong channel until it tells me and deducts points. Would be lovely if it let players know at all times somewhere what the current correct channel is.

  5. nope, it isn't. but tutorials are very much needed and hopefully are implemented upon launch. Can only imagine the disaster that will occur if this launches without them. The learning curve is just way too steep.
  6. so this is an issue with any train that spawns in an AI controlled area then? pretty much won't have a playable service im assuming. Been sitting in a yard at a red for almost 2 hours and nothing. other trains around me waiting the same fate. Hoping that when the full game launches this won't be an issues as i've heard all locations will have a human dispatcher. Not sure if that's fully correct, though. 😕
  7. Is there an issue with cargo trains? They seem to be the only ones that just sit at reds for hours at their stating locations. AI dispatcher won't give them a clear path. Everytime i join one i wait hours before i give up and leave the server.

  9. just finished talking about this in my video to come. can't even see what train is coming until it's super close cause the number bleeds off the screen. 😞 doesn't matter what resolution you have your game set to either, it will always do it.
  10. much prefer this over what is has been the past several days. hope this stays implemented into the final version. like to know where all things are at all times and if some players aren't moving, even if they are across the map, it's easy to see that. the more transparency, the better! 🙂
  11. Yes!! Some games have AFK mode or going temporarily "inactive" without losing your place in a server. Was thinking about this yesterday and would love to see this implemented! Even if it's idle for only 3-5 minutes at a time, that is still better than no time at all. Allows for bathroom breaks, water, or maybe let the dog out.
  12. agree. this is something that can really set it apart from other trai sims. dynamic events. dynamic delays. one timetable to play will get repetitive very quickly.
  13. thank you for mentioning the sound. shouldn't sound like running water in a bathtub. should sound like rain on foliage, pavement, etc.
  14. i just wish they'd remaster run8 or something. it's so good but i get tired of it looking like a gamecube game. the graphics are so unappealing 😞
  15. comparisons are bound to happen. these are 2 games in the same genre. expecting people not to compare is unrealistic. if anything, these inevitable "comparisons" can be used as fuel to improve and make a BETTER product. these kinds of conversations shouldn't be frowned upon.
  16. will we be able to see all trains (including AI trains) ? I see what appear to be 'robot' icons, but i'd rather ask then assume lol

  18. i've been seeing some crazy weird stuff too! honestly i recommend downloading OBS and just screen recording while you play if you happen to have enough hard drive space incase anything weird happens, you have it documented. great to do even if you don't plan to upload the footage anywhere. 🙂

  21. agree with you, feels off. would be nice if at least real people driving a service showed a driver in the seat.

Are there any plans to make the MP servers larger (once the full game is released) to accommodate more players (drivers/dispatchers) so there can essentially be no AI trains or dispatchers if the server is hypothetically full? Currently in the play-test, only seeing max servers with 20-30 people (drivers + dispatchers).
  23. yeah, if they can add dynamic events for AI trains, then they have my money. a fixed timetable is cool but after you play it so many times everything becomes predictable. it's already nudging out DTG (for me) in terms of creativity and options, that would push it enough over the line for me to prefer over other sims. 🙂
  24. i'm still driving in the server i've been in for about an hour. does it kick you out of them if they go down or just prevent you from joining one. no players are being shown in TAB mode tho... hmm
  25. THIS. i'm constantly becoming spatially disoriented especially from not knowing the country/route. sometimes i don't even know which direction i'm heading. even adding a compass or an option to turn one on and off would be very helpful. 🙂
