Improved environment for dispatchers

Recommended Posts

Hello

Would it be possible to improve the environment for the dispatchers and make the game more enjoyable for them?

Put blinds, curtains or shades on the windows to prevent glare from the sun.

Allow the dispatcher to sit in his chair.

These options are also available to train drivers.

Thanks 🙂

The one about blinds has been suggested many times, Katowice from around 4pm to about 6pm in the summer with the sun directly on the panel makes it difficult to see any of the indications

Thing is, does the real thing include blinds?

Sometimes we should put aside the "realistic" things and just do things that are for convenience purposes. SR is a piece of software eceryone of us paid money for. So pls let us be able to use all of the software that we paid for.
And if you want to do it the "realistic" way, it is your right to not use the convenient parts as you would do with the hud.

Sure, you can add blinds to an aeroplane too if you want and open the windows in mid air as well. I bought Simrail as it looked realistic/professional, if you want other kind of stuff, you have other platforms. Or you can try to mod things when you get the tools, so you can even add a Christmas tree on your box if you want to. 🙂

Real signal boxes do have blinds, at least here in the UK they do and I can guarantee that any signaller in Poland wouldn't be putting up with sun on the panel for very long, even if it means MacGyvering a solution by say putting flattened cardboard in the window as a shade. Put simply signallers wouldn't put up with that lark for very long. Even it it means refusal to work the box (Which has happened here once in the UK when a signaller complained about the lighting at a location, he got moved because of that, it happens)

You'll also notice a lot of the boxes will have a roof overhang with valances at the parts over the windows, they're meant to block a lot of the sun.

PS, my box at work we have two Christmas trees btw 👍

well you buy a early access title what means it dont have all functions in or complete in exemple would be here shunting, switching cab or prepair a loco and couple it to the train 🙂 when you buy a early access game you need to be aware of that even when it takes years to add otherwise i would suggest to buy it when it leave the early access 👉
