Brake pressure wont release (EU07)

Check your loco (straight) brake hasn't applied. I couldn't get power back just now and for some reason it had gone to 100%.

IMHO we need an extra section on the HUD showing the actual brake handle positions.

Also how do you lap the brakes on the EU07, either initial or full service?

i really dont want to see the HUD looking like the tonka toys tsw one with far too much info that blocks half the screen,
this is supposed to be a simulator... look at the levers in the cab?

The controls do need a bit of work tho, the brake lever seem's to be a self lapping type, if you move it with the mouse you can leave it anywhere between 'initial' and 'full' and get a controlled braking amount.

But with keyboard keys jump between positions,

I discovered you can right click the mouse on a lever and use the scroll wheel to operate the lever tho... this is very handy to quickly move the main power wheel in this loco, but this method moves the brake lever far to finely, so clicking and dragging is better for the brake lever for now.

Eventually we will get joystick controls, and then we can use things like throttle quadrents, or build our own controllers as simple as a few potentiometers and an arduino board.

Also Raildriver would be nice 🙂  Mine is just collecting dust right now.

That's good to know about the mouse wheels.  I'll have to try it.  I also got stuck so I'll check the loco breaks to see if something happened there.  I couldn't get going and posted in another thread the stream from last night.

Thanks

Sean

i know that if you've put the brake lever into the emergency position, you need to use the brake release button to get the brakes to come off (once the brake lever is out of the emergency position)

The brake release is the green button on the bottom row of the desk, next to the double toggle switch for headlight dimming.

''''Do'h, just seen your other thread, and it's not that... but i did spot that your main pressure gauge was pegged at max pressure, it should never go above about 1 and a little bit Mpa, as the safety valves would be set about there.
