I am wondering how everyone drives on the regional services between Katowice and Zawiercie, and Warsawa and Skierniewice, and what is the most realistic. I've noticed that the timetable is incredibly strict, and when coupled with station gaps of about three kilometres it is very easy to accumulate one or two minute delays.

With the EN76 I have adopted an 'S Bahn' driving style, where I get the train moving with around 20% throttle and then kick it to 100%, and vice-versa when stopping (when travelling 120 km/h I start bringing on the brakes at around 650 m from the platform end, and at 160 km/h about 1 km away) since the train mostly uses regenerative braking so wear should not be too big of an issue.

For the Kibels, I drive a bit more cautiously, using a maximum of 70% braking force since they only use friction brakes. With with these trains I don't think it's actually possible to always be on schedule no matter what you do since it takes so long to get up to speed.
