I was finally able to finish a SP scenario in the game thanks to the save game now working more or less as it should. Out of six saves on the 90 minute run, only one fell down with the unable to create route error. Was able to revert to an earlier save and repeat that section, saved again which successfully loaded and completed the run. I now need to test how it is working on the original route and the 1980’s steam train run. My advice at this point though would be to save regularly, every 10 or 15 minutes, so if you do get one that doesn’t load you don’t have to go back too far. Edited Tuesday at 08:20 AM by BigVern
BigVern Posted 12 hours ago Author Posted 12 hours ago Further update for the developers if they are following… Save game is now working on the OG Warsaw to Katowice route. However a couple of issues remain with the EU07 loading back in. Power is off so you need to reclose the main switch and put the overload trips back in. Dials and gauges load black so I had to toggle instrument lighting off and on to get the textures to reappear. But otherwise looking great and finally able to do the regional express service over the next few evenings and see the whole route, not just 40 minute sections in multiplayer.
rutgerluiten Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago (edited) Main problems are: -Savegame doesn't remember direction of train. -main switch is off and all settings in the cab are off (with the ed250 it's resulting in a stop), indicator/gauge lights also not working from start. But will turn on after use. -Etcs is not yet possible. - the save game is not rendering the latest scenario step, for example a completed stop is not in a save game completed.
