Getting an EU07 back to life

Question.

Yesterday i was stuck behind an train which was abandoned. I tried to spawn inside of it. But the train lost all of his air and besides the battery and the lights on the panel the pantograph didnt want to raise either. Is there any way to get the pantograph up when the main reservoir doesnt have enough air inside?

Did this by any chance occur after a failed server connection?

I have been dumped in a similar situation after an initial failure to connect with the server. It then seems to connect automatically after you clear the warning message but drops you in a stationary locomotive. All the systems seem to be active but you can't get the pantograph up or get anything working.

Or maybe yours is a separate issue, though I too last night visited several servers that dropped me immediately behind a stopped train before finding one that didn't.

What time was this? Are you sure this wasn't on or around the patch release? Reason I say this is, I had a similar issue - I was in an EP07, which I couldn't get started. Turned out later after (checked the log) that the game wasn't connecting to the server right, because of the update.
