Hi.

I figure these aren't bugs, so it fits here.
I realize that the devs can't really make small adjustments to the timetable without creating conflicts elsewhere. However, some of these issues creates consistent problems that probably should be dealt with.

At WP I see 16xx usually creates conflict/delay for 61xxx and then 61xxx create delay for 412xxx. I usually let 16xx wait until 61xxx has passed. I think that is ok to do since it is the end of the route for 16xx in the game. A PT/PH for 16xx would easily solve this problem.
61xxx is booked for track 5 platform 2. This often create conflict with 54xxx. I think it works better to let 61xxx use track 4. He also have an exit at 100km/h that way. 61xxx and 132xxx might be in conflict with eachother this way, but overall I feel it works better.

personally i wanna add that 611xx is timed way too tight into Opoczno Pulodny, If its just ONE minute late it will already delay the EuroCity. (611 leaves :44 EC pulls in :45, leaves zero room for a late 611 if EC is on time (which is very likely when 16XX isnt running that hour)

I agree just some small ajustments could create problems elswhere. I would propose a complete overhaul of the new timetable. In my opinion the new timetable has cut far too many trains, and it -sadly- is a downgrade from the previous version.

The last update brought improvements to signal boxes by combining some very simple ones, which is great. But I also looked forward to a bit more challenging events like shunting, or a big signal box like Krakow Glowny. Sadly when I played my favorite Zabkowice again I noticed nothing really happened anymore. The station just sits empty most of the time. Less trains means less (almost)conflicts to solve. The notoriously late 146xxx which was one of the trains I looked forward to, is no more. I just felt bored, while in the previous timetable you were always on alert. And after all, you should be in a level 5 signal box! And ofcourse this cut in the timetable affects all of the main route between Katowice and Warzawa. I just can't hide my disappointment.

I certainly hope the Lodz DLC will bring a better timetable for all of the existing routes...

Yes, there are small margins here.

There are not possible to get 53xxx departure at time at GM(unless you want to delay the passing 54xxx. The timetable is just wrong.

Also, 35xxx is consistently delayed and misses its slot before 45xxx at Psary,

Edited some details about consistency in delays

AI at Psary seems to prefer holding 132xxx on the mainline at track 1. In a perfect world this isn't really a big problem, but trains are often delayed, so having him wait at the mainline can create a mess and delays

I think it would be better if 3xxx was booked before 4xxx at Psary. I think it is more important now than before since 4xxx an ekstra stop

What do you guys think about having 4xxx booked ahead of 3xxx at Psary? I've always thought that isn't right, since 4xxx is slower than 3xxx due to its stop at WP. Now with the extra stop at OP for 41xx, I feel it is more of a problem.

Since 4xxx is coming through Psary at max speed, I figure it requires more of a buffer between the two

Edit: I just realized that I wrote the same thing 2 posts ago...

Feedback after the 13.03.25 update.

4121xx is often early and out of stack with 4120xx at WP. This creates a situation where holding 4121xx to its PT is not reasonable. Sending 4121xx early is not a good option since it will likely create a mess further up the line, and holding him can create a mess at WP. It is not intuitive to hold 4121xx and let 4120xx pass.

I've also noticed that AI at Olsza is not always holding 4120xx, creating delay for 41xx 31xx.

Also, issues I mentioned above is still present. I think it would be better to solve those issues before adding new trains to the CMK.

Whis should be no longer an issue after 13.03 patch?

Generally speaking there is no room for new trains, maybe one per hour or per two hours in the middle section. Especially when you take into account the long distances between stations about 30 kilometers, which cause that there are few possibilities to overtake.

I haven't driven it yet, but 53xxx is still consistently delayed.

I recognize the more realistic approach it is after the EA exit. I like that idea. But I'm not sure if it translates that well in this simulator. Driving a train without any reasonable way to catch up a small delay(delays are more or less a given), isn't a good gameplay mechanic. I would also say the same thing about being a dispatcher. If I will create a delay no matter what I do, it is not so fun to try to figure things out.

i actually like that SimRail is doing things more realistically,

before the timetable overhaul it was hard to not arrive 20+ minutes early at some stops on the 141xx / 411xx services,
Now it's more like real life, you have a tight timetable and once you start to lose time it's hard to make it up, as you begin to lose your time slots along the line.

I know in a 'game' people want to get maximum points and be on time every time they play,
but treat SimRail as the simulator it is, as if you are driving a real train, delays happen all the time and it's just part of railway life when other peoples actions affect your trip.

To me this makes the simulator more exciting as you need to be constantly aware of what's going on around you and think ahead etc,
rather than figure out after a few drives that if you put the train on cruise control at xx km/h, you can sit back and watch the scenery go by and you will arrive spot on time, then watch the points / trophies accumulate,
then next day do the same until you are bored of everything repeating.

It's hard to disagree with what you're saying. As I said, I like the idea, I just don't think it fits well for the timetable that it is now. There is no winning. You can't arrive on-time. The timetable is just wrong. There is fundamental issues here that I think that should be fixed.

Personally, I do like some more slack in the timetable from a gameplay perspective on the long routes.

There should also be taken into consideration the effects it has on the overall traffic. Everthing is tightly connected, so if you have a fundamental fault from the start, it will translate to much more. I don't understand why it is not fixed

i guess this is where the idea of professional and general use servers pops up,

Professional servers would be for those who want to 100% pretend they are a real train driver driving a realistic tight timetable and having to follow all the real life rules.

General use servers would have slacker timetables and less focus on rules and regulation adherence,

I suggested the idea many times of a "PRO" server many times and got shot down in flames

I'm all for that. Also cutting off the map, and making the EDR more precise. And  fixing the fundamental issues with the timetable.

regarding the timetable. I think the slot for 1320xx is a bit tight between 53xxx and 13xx from Psary.

I don't think it would be possible with a PRO-server? Any player could join it? It would have to be some 3rd party thing ala vatsim for flightim.
