[NEXT] Stuttering and poor performance
hoppturee- replied to hoppturee-'s topic in Bug reporting [Multiplayer]
It seems the stuttering is caused by V-Sync when players are around. Disabling V-Sync fixes the kind of stuttering visible in the video. -
[NEXT] Stuttering and poor performance
hoppturee- replied to hoppturee-'s topic in Bug reporting [Multiplayer]
For some reason, when running SimRail via Proton on CachyOS (Linux) the stuttering is completely gone. I get some stutter when the next section of the map is loaded but nothing noticeable (it just shows up in the Steam FPS graph). Windows has been reinstalled a couple of times since I've started having this issue with no improvements. All drivers are up to date, as well as the Windows 11 version 25H2. -

Hi! I have had this bug since the first SimRail release, where passing trains are stuttering or even stopping completely even if my performance is good and nothing else is stuttering. Settings: everything on max, 3440x1440 Configuration: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, 64 GB RAM DDR4 3600MHz, RTX 3090 24GB, Samsung 990 Evo Plus 2TB PCIe 4.0 clip3.mp4

Hello! For some reason I have always had poor performance on the next branch, even before the last update that got merged. I get those stutters on the main branch as well but a bit less often. The locations where this happens are random everytime. I think it has to do with players being nearby, but I'm not sure. Settings: everything on max, 3440x1440 Configuration: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, 64 GB RAM DDR4 3600MHz, RTX 3090 24GB, Samsung 990 Evo Plus 2TB PCIe 4.0 clip1.mp4 clip2.mp4

Simrail performance after DLC Lódz
hoppturee- replied to K Kawa's topic in General Discussion [Singleplayer]
It seems you only have 4GB of RAM. Try upgrading that to the minimum requirement of 8GB. Also, judging by the disk usage, it seems your game is stored on an HDD. Upgrading to an SSD (even the cheapest ones) might massively improve the performance. @Gazz292 You meant GB, not MB. -

Many whistle signs missing on Krakow route
hoppturee- posted a topic in Bug reporting [Singleplayer]
I haven't taken screenshots, but you should do a playthrough of the Krakow route both ways and look for random penalties for not using the horn or points not received for using it (with signs present). There are very many places on the Krakow route where this happens. -
Birds are singing in the night

Multiple major stations on the Krakow line. One of them was definitely Slomniki. Probably also Krakow? -

I don't think birds are supposed to be singing at 21:04 or 23:30 :D.

No idea if Slomniki Miaslo has a SHP magnet in the middle of the station, probably not. -
