BigVern Posted December 15, 2022 Posted December 15, 2022 Not a bug report, more of an observation. Does anyone else find the sunlight reflecting and flickering on the cab side window especially the EU and EP07 locos a little distracting and annoying? It could also affect people prone to visual disturbances (migraine) or epilepsy*. IMHO it needs to be toned down to at least remove the flicker, with an option to turn it off altogether. * I don't suffer from epilepsy and wouldn't be gaming if I did, but do get occasional migraines and thinking of anyone else who does.
SurvivorSean Posted December 15, 2022 Posted December 15, 2022 I have epileptic like seizures but considered a controlled epileptic if that makes sense. Lights and crap have never bothered me as I only get them at night. Been about 10 years now as far as I know. Yeah I thought the engine was sparking at first as it sparkeled (looked like sparking) in the rain. Also the rain came when it was perfectly sunny. Not sure what that was all about. Thanks Sean
Jasonic Posted December 15, 2022 Posted December 15, 2022 You can stop that happening Vern by reducing lighting quality, try it on very low. I agree Sean it never seems to get any darker when it rains, but I think the scenery is too bright anyway.
BigVern Posted December 15, 2022 Author Posted December 15, 2022 Thanks Jason I will try that. Agree about the brightness. Not as bad as TSW3 "adaptive" lighting but could do with toning down, or user controlled, gamma slider or something.
