I know right now with inexpreienced players trains are often later (or sometimes very early becasue they blow by stations without waiting).

However I've noticed on servers with less players and AI trains are very predictable especially cargo trains.  I'm starting to noticed the pattern of the trains and they are pretty much the same every time which leads to things becoming a bit too predictable.

Some randomization of train arrivals and perhaps some way of informing boxes ahead of time when a service is running late would help.  Also I hope the actual train arrival in dispatching will populate eventually so that we know what trains have or have not gone through.

Thanks

Presumably in the full release and especially SP we will get a more authentic 24 hour timetable. I'm hoping there will be overnight trains, including couchettes and sleeping cars that we can operate!

The timetable in playtests repeats periodically every hour for every train.

Is there any chance the schedule may get more busy to test dispatching more harshly? I haven't seen any trains that need to be routed for industries, for example, or anything that really requires a siding minus a single freight that gets held for 17 minutes.

was thinking myself about that with AI timetables that goes 24/7 you could too really much in the SP like let you search a engine and couple random fright trains that need anywere else with a smart dispatch AI and AI that have timetables by themself and they even have portals to add and remove trains with stuff like this should be possible 😄
