Rudolf Jan Posted Friday at 08:22 PM Posted Friday at 08:22 PM In the EU07 tutorial you need to switch on the radio and select the desired channel. I have seen a very old youtube where you apperently only need to turn the radio on. I tried, but the yellow objective line stays lit and whatever channel I try, it makes no difference. I fout a tutorial here at the forums, and someone asking the same question, in December 2022. Then someone replied it is a know bug. So that is two years ago, not solved and it makes the tutorial unplayable and following it makes it very hard to play this engine. I tend to give this game a very negative review.
jeroezie Posted Friday at 08:34 PM Posted Friday at 08:34 PM Its because the radio splitter was added later to the EU07 then the tutorial was made. Turn on the radio equipement on the back wasof the front cabin and set the proper cabin, then it should work. 1

I tend to give this game a very negative review. wait.... you are going to give SimRail a negative review because you haven't found the radio power supply / splitter yet? SimRail is not your typical arcade like train game where it's more like playing with a model railway, SimRail is based on the simulator software used to train real life drivers, so it's going to take anyone new to it a while to figure things out, once you know about the radio PSU and splitter, it will all make sense, as the poster above said, this functionality was added after the first scenario was created... so it's really down to the maker of that scenario that they didn't update it to include new functionality added to the sim.

If it hasn't been updated to match the rest of the simulator, it means the game is simply unfinished.
CertifiedPyro Posted Saturday at 09:53 AM Posted Saturday at 09:53 AM That's strange, because I vaguely remember the EU07 tutorial actually explaining how to turn on the radio splitter, etc. But when I just tried it, it didn't explain it at all, so not sure I misremembered or it's a bug.
Gazz292 Posted Saturday at 04:16 PM Posted Saturday at 04:16 PM the tutorials are pretty much interactive movies... they simply play out the instructions one after the other and advance when you have clicked the buttons they tell you to, so my guess is the tutorial in question is an older one that was made before the radio PSU and splitter was added to the sim. but there are a few different EU07 'tutorials' i believe?
