MrSuttonmann Posted October 11 Posted October 11 In English, "semaphore" has a very specific meaning - it is the mechanical version of a railway signal. (See Wikipedia) See the attached photo for a comparison signal types. In both cases, this equipment is called a "signal" with the type being distinguished by "semaphore" or "colour-light". Therefore it is misleading to call all signals in SimRail a "semaphore" because this is technically incorrect. In SimRail, the translation should be "Signal". 2
