Bot causes desync of headlights dim switch

If you turn off the headlight on the EU07 locomotive, which is on by default, it doesn't get the same brightness when you turn it on again.

On the left is the default light, and on the right is the light after switching it on again.

I assume there are no dim/bright switches that I don't know about 🙂

There is dim swith at the bottom of control board next to releaser button. All implemented locos have it in some place, as you're supposed to dim them at day and when passing somebody. But it should keep it's state when you switch off lights. Also dimmed state is default. I doubt AI would touch it at night.

So basically AI trains run with bright light, and disabling the autopilot doesn't set it to dim (it bypasses the dim switch)
Not a big bug then, especially not after I found that dim switch 🙂

Does it cause desync of dim switch and headlights state? So you have to double flip it to really dim?

Yes, the dim switch is on by default (dim pos.) but the lights are bright. So you have to turn off the dim switch, then back on to dim the lights.

Or you can switch off the headlight itself and then back on.
