Inconsistencies in Brake / Bogey Information of several IC Wagons

Recommended Posts

Hi,

scouting around in the train shed, I found that the brake inscriptions, text descriptions and 3D models are not consistent for the wagons of the B91, G90 and 406A family. Apart from the A9mnouz 6151 1970 234-3, all of those wagons have a brake inscription of KE-GPR-Mg, which would mean the wagons are equipped with track brakes, which is also mentioned in the description. The beforementioned exception has the inscription SW-PR, but shares the description of all other wagons, including the track brakes. None of those wagons have the track brakes on their model, however all of them with the brake inscription KE-GPR-Mg, have the leaver position for Mg brakes on their model. In addition the description mentiones 3 disc brakes per wheelset, however the model only has 2.

In game model represents GP200 bogie. I can't find any additional sled on any photos. Wagons represented in game fit their photos.
You messed numbers, or it was changed already as I remember touching brake inscriptions on them at some point, but the one without MG is b10bmnouz_61512071105_1 from modernisation batch XBN-FPS. There are also b10bmnouz brom batch XBN-MG2 also done in FPS workshop. At first glance their bogies are the same. Maybe they lacked some crucial component or just specification didn't forced MG so somebody cheapened out. I can't find website with whole modernisation history timeline, from where I pulled description info. It might got closed down.

As for number of brake discs, most photos and drawings have just two per axle like in the model, but I've found one with three. It might got added during modernisation. But I'd need more info before touching the model. It's not something you can see on photos in the internet.
