Missing Driver in Own Locomotive

So at present, the game will draw other player character models, however AI controlled locos and your own loco seem to be missing drivers. This is kind of disturbing to be completely honest. I understand that the devs probably set it up this way so that players can distinguish which locos are controlled by actual players. However, recently it has been suggested to put player name/info on top of their train (with hotkey?), and with this being the case, I think all trains should get a driver character. 

On top of that, in regards to the player's own loco - if you switch to the exterior camera (2), you should see your own character inside the loco as you were (last?) seated. When you switch to the on-foot camera, then obviously it shouldn't show a duplicate character inside the loco. I personally think this way would make the most sense to implement.

And finally, avatars? Players should be given a choice of a few heads and sexes maybe?
