Can't connect to server after latest update

Hello, so I just downloaded the most recent update. At the moment, I cannot connect to a server. It just crashed right at the beginning of the loading screen. I can confirm that at least one friend of mine is also experiencing this issue.

So, after doing some testing, I've figured out what causes this. If you set your View Distance to 2000m, you will crash. It happens to me and another friend of mine, like clockwork. I know dropping it to ~1600m lets you play normally. Not sure what the "breaking point" is yet.
