Jsou šuntovací stupně u EU07 úsporné?

Rozumím přibližně jak šuntování funguje a také vím, že musí spotřebovávat nějakou energii, ale neumím si úplně představit kolik v porovnání s jinými spotřebami v lokomotivě, které se zanedbávají.

Je tedy brána jízda na šuntovacím stupni jako úsporná a nebo bych se jí měl vyvarovat?

Úsporná jízda je taková kdy nejsou do trakčního obvodu zapojeny rozjezdové odporníky, resp. není elektrická energie mařená v odporech. Klidně na šuntech jezdi, je to úsporná jízda.
