Blob
Every time I play SimRail Multiplayer I'm only able to play around 40 minutes before the game loses connection. Every time this happens, I see that my ethernet cable has lost connection, and I have to manually take it out and plug it back in. This only happens when I play Simrail, and happens on any server, however I mostly play on the EN1 server. My PC specs: CPU: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-11900KF @ 3.50GHz 3.50 GHz GPU: GeForce RTX 3070 RAM: 16 GB I have attached the log of my most recent game where this happened. I'd really appreciate anything that helps me fix this issue, as it's preventing me from playing this game for long periods of time. Blob
Just happened again this morning, however, after only 7 MINUTES AND 35 SECONDS. I have no clue what's going on, please can someone help? SimRail_log_2023-04-10_16-23-28.txt
iPanuzzo
This is not an official answer, but looks more like a hardware/driver issue to me. Your network card might overheat or something. No way a game has an access to the lower levels of OSI. 1
Schyrsivochter
Yeah, if SimRail causes your Ethernet link to drop, that’s almost certainly a hardware issue. There’s at least three layers of network driver between SimRail and your card.
