AI Dispatchers make them send trains left track

Recommended Posts

It already does, but it's hit and miss as to when it actually does! Or do you mean as a dispatcher???

Me about to overtake a late freight between Dorota and Juliusz, truly in AI controlled land, I only took a photo because I didn't believe it myself, normally the AI at Dorota will leave you sat on a red for 10 minutes!

Yeah the AI needs a better "which train goes first" logic other than what appears to be the "whos to a certain point first" I've seen the situation above but because the freight reaches a certain point first by like seconds, it just lets the freight go first and makes the passenger fall in behind even though the passenger is late and the freight is not.

That's how that scenario in the picture played out because DGZ AI ran the freight ahead of me despite it being booked behind me, not for the first time either! So I was very surprised that the Dorota AI ran me bang road (sorry, "left line running" even 🤣) to Juliusz!

some signalboxes do that like between knapowka and psary sometimes  the knapowka AI ask if track 2 is free for train xxxx or xxxxx 😄 just guess some AI signalboxes dont do that because the distance is so long ( 18 km )

i have hear from someone that the AI planing mostly 30 afterwards when you need to wait at a red signal and thats the reason fright trains wait mostly on side tracks and sometimes on the main track, maybe that work between AI dispatchers the same way that he say ,, allright the next 20 min dont come something from this side" so he use the left track ^^
