Like if a train goes to platform 1 track 4 at Zawierce, can it go to a different platform? Also at Zawierce, is it ok to sent trains meant for line 1 towards lazy onto 158 or 160 or vice versa? What about sending 160 train towards 158 or vice versa? At Zawierce, generally yes. Just ask the Lazy AI if its okay to send the train that way. If it tells you no because of a platform issue, don't force it as it could break it. At Zawierce, you can basically send any freight anywhere but at Lazy Lc, this does not apply. Are there stations that the longer trains stop at though that have platforms they don't fit at? Next time you're about we can try it and find out! I was wondering if you were thinking about Glowny. All platforms work. EC fits perfect on track 4. If the AI spots the train at the platform heading North, it will actually leave its tail in the interlocking but the track circuits aren't exact so its clear on the dispatcher board If its a player heading south and they aren't confident, a route out or a sub signal and a verbal warning to them might be best to make them not worry about the signal Edited March 27, 2023 by Dolphin Invasion Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Its not millimeters but its not ideal. Would be fine for Northbounds but Southbounds would require vigilance from the driver and dispatcher. Spong Posted March 27, 2023 Share Posted March 27, 2023 (edited) The southbound EC train from Warsaw to Katowice does NOT fit on the side platform at Sosnowiec Main. I was routed there once, and the last two carriages were platform-less. For context and comparison, EC trains coming from Warsaw are 11 wagons long (including the lead locomotive), while EC trains going to Warsaw are only 9 wagons long (including the lead locomotive). Thus, the former does not fit, but the latter does. I have no idea why this imbalance exists, but I'm not gonna complain, it's just a little detail dispatchers need to be aware of when altering the allocated platform of a train. I've seen every train use that track without problem either passing by or with myself dispatching. I'll have to pay more attention to see which ones don't fit all on the platform maybe on a dead server. Again, I just use that one for the commuters unless I have to because its a small platform but I've never seen players on the longer trains say its not counting them as okay to stop to exchange passengers 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
