It really kills the immersion to have the passengers just standing around on the plattforms and waiting for nothing. Also, there should be more passengers waitning for the train, especially at bigger stations. 1 4
Aero1995 Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 (edited) Passengers are already boarding and it's nicely animated as he walks through the train and sits down on the seat, but there are very few passengers so you can't see them. I haven't played the game for a few weeks but after the update yesterday I did two services and realised that passengers still or again don't board the train.

Expand Passenger interaction had been disabled for some time until the latest update. When the update arrived, passengers were indeed boarding and disembarking trains. However, as of today, no passengers were boarding my trains, so that made me wonder what happened to them.

DazT Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 (edited) It'd be nice if the number of passengers stood on the platforms changes at different times of day, I've frequently done evening and even late night runs and there's a lot of passengers hanging round some stations in the middle of nowhere at 3am! Hopefully when the game moves on a bit more and we get a realistic timetable rather than the testing clockface one we've currently got the service will thin out in the evening, perhaps more freight at night before the passenger stuff ramps up again in the morning. I personally think the passenger number is very low, but at night it's indeed unrealistic to have a lot of passengers waiting at a station in the middle of nowhere and having a bunch of passenger trains driving. 2

Maybe they only like express trains during certain times. 🤔 Expand was that a 91xxx or a 19xxx =? most stations are empty but at one station they neary ram my train from the tracks ( that one were you have plattforms for both sides ) was a bit strange they try to open the door but the other side goes open and they try to ram themself in the train 😧

Adlol2 Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 yea they should add more pasangers becasue for example at Sosnowiec Glowny or Wloszczowa polnoc only 5 pasangers stay at station and only 1 go to train so they must add more pasangers

Boba Fatt Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 So guys, the other day at night, about 10-20 min after a server restart, I did the S1 or S41 line, and I had a looot more passengers, reminded me of the Playtests even. I had so many passengers reaching the train from all places of the platforms, that I had to wait more time than my stops were allocated for to pick them up, getting a delay 😁 The next day at a normal time I had the little to none passengers like always, so maybe a restart does refresh passengers and fix them for a while? 2

Expand I was just thinking about the same thing. 🤔 Could a server restart possibly affect the number of passengers?
