Map of route

Recommended Posts

No signals or speeds, but have a look at https://www.simrail.fr/ and choose your server. That shows you all the route, stations, player or bot controlled trains etc.

As for learning speeds, have a look at Gazz292 signals and signage guide (stickied at the top of this forum) and learn how to read the signals. You can increase the intensity of the signal displays in the settings for easier viewing too!

Happy motoring.

You can get a general notion of the line speeds on OpenRailwayMap by selecting Max Speeds in the menu to the left. But a timetable like this would answer all of your questions. Maybe we'll get this information shown in the SimRail timetable some day in the future. It's been requested a couple of times.

If you learn what the signals and signs look like and mean then there's no need for the HUD in regards to speeds. Once you know them you can just read every sign and signal you pass and you're good. Can get busy sometimes like with overlapping speed begin and end signs, but apart from that there's usually time enough to meet the speed restrictions.

I have it as a pdf on a tablet right on front of me. The idea of the map is to get a picture of what's coming, kind of like the PFD displaying the route and waypoints with altitude and speed restrictions in a passenger jet, for me I want to see what's coming up down the line!
