jmluengor
When I enter the forum and read the posts, sometimes I find myself a little lost because some users refer to SimRail rolling stock with different names, and that generates confusion and leads to think that there are more railcars and locomotives than those available in the game. If I'm not mistaken, There are three railcars: - The 34EW ELF railcar and the EN76 railcar (same model, different livery) - The ED250 "Pendolino" railcar and three locomotives: - EU07 - ET25 "Dragon" - E186 Traxx I would be grateful if we would keep this name to avoid misunderstandings. Correct me if I am wrong.
Crypter Emerald
Hi! Names a somewhat all over the place as there are lots of variants in many countries that people might be familiar with. This is possibly the reason why many of us say slightly different names. The game also refers to them in multiple ways. Here is what I found that is currently available. These are present either in the game, on the map or via the API (for developers). ED250 - Pendolino EN76-006 - Elf, EMU (Electric Multiple Unit), light blue livery EN76-022 - Elf, EMU, green-yellow livery EN96-001 - Elf, EMU, red livery (this is the 2-car variant) EU07-Cargo - 4EC, dark blue cargo livery EU07-IC - 4EIC, light blue intercity livery EP07 - 4EP, green livery, usually runs on Eurocity services and some cargo lines E186 - TRAXX loco, green-white livery, cargo lines and loco-only runs ET25 - Dragon, blue-yellow livery, cargo runs Hope this helps clear up the names for anyone interested! 1
jmluengor
Well, thank you very much for your clarification. I see that the name of the 34EW (EN96) railcar is no longer used. Your answer is very useful.
