Alexandre Popovich Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 (edited) Hello, i donwloaded the game yesterday, and i played a little in solo. Then i wanted to go in French Multiplier Server, and when i selected that i wanted to play as driver, the game load well and after Few minutes i got a error message that say me that the connexion between me and the server has been lost for an unknown reason. And After that i enter the game but i can't do anything. The error appears only when i want to play as a driver. When i take Controller, the game load well and i Can play, i have no issues Here my log from the game session, if someone has an idea SimRail_log_2023-01-31_17-17-51.txt Edited January 31, 2023 by Alexandre Popovich

Alexandre Popovich Posted January 31, 2023 Author Posted January 31, 2023 What does it change to have it on a SSD ?

Alexandre Popovich Posted January 31, 2023 Author Posted January 31, 2023 Yeah i know that, becaus it's full electronics. But does that change something to play in multiplayer ?

Wirewalker Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 If you make a note of the Train number you had chosen to drive before you get the message wait until the game loads then go back to the main menu and choose the same train again and 90% of the time it loads just fine. Not sure why it does this but it works for me. 1

weezzah Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 (edited) Here's a little report from yesterday: I had 3 random disconnects within an hour or so while driving on the south-west part towards Katowice on the EN1 server. I cannot recall having dc'ed that much because of an unknown reason. It's maybe happened once or twice before. I noticed several assets did not load fully (see image below of an example), and there were the occasional loading stutters. Also, the voice audio on the servers often sounded broken which I was hoping was a radio distance distortion feature, but I'm thinking it was due to loading issues. I have SimRail stored on a Kingston NV1 NVMe M.2 SSD 2TB. It's also worth mentioning that the game did patch twice including the mini-patch quite recently. Edit: There were server lags on EN1, and other servers too: Edited February 1, 2023 by weezzah
RockHawk Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Since the patch last weekend the servers have been quite flaky - AI trains have had stuttering movement and I've had quite a few disconnects. I think the weird AI train movement is causing other issues too. Hopefully this gets sorted soon! 1
