New ideas to get more realism

Recommended Posts

Here I present some ideas that I would like you to take into consideration, I know that I am asking a lot, but this will give the simulator more realism:

- There should be areas with hot axle detectors that randomly force the train to park at a nearby station in order to segregate the wagon in question.

- There must be scale areas to check that no train exceeds the weight value per axle, and this task could be executed by the dispatcher.

- There should be a keyboard shortcut to move to certain areas in the stations like the entrance needles on both sides of the station or an aerial view over the station.

- The dispatcher could have an animation to greet human driven trains.

- The driver could also be able to greet the dispatcher with some animation.

- Freight trains are usually parked in sorting terminals to later create other trains or to take them to the recipients, but the locomotives that took them there are sent to sidings or workshops for maintenance. The driver must completely turn it off many times and in other cases turned on for the driver's relief.

- It would be good if there was a driver profile that stored his way of driving, I mean by this, that he saved how many times he had to apply emergency brakes, how many times the "dead man" safety device jumped, what is his braking profile or acceleration that causes the wheels to slip or driving with brakes applied that causes planes on the wheels. Excessive pulling force on a heavy freight train could break a hitch flange.

- Accounting of exceeded signals.

- Punctuality percentages.

- A history that will store the total tons transported, preferred merchandise with percentages (bulk minerals, cereals, automobiles, containers, granite blocks, steelworks, rails, ballast, cement, palletized merchandise, fuels such as gasoline, diesel, passengers , military trains isolated machines, etc...

- Average train load

- Counter of transported train meters

- Distance traveled - Driving time.

- Preferred travel times, etc...

- Information about the profile of the route to be covered, degrees of slope, etc...

Thank you all.

Sorry for poor english.
